Filters only lasted 8 months before clogging and not working. I recommend trying a different brand if these don’t even last the suggested 12 months.

Disappointed I only got six months out of these. I’ve primed and washed them repeatedly but tank will not drain beyond half way.

The water system came packaged nicely. The stainless steel canister system, spout and stand are nice quality. The spout is all metal and not flimsy like some other models I was considering. The spout has a large handle that can be locked over to the side to fill up coffee pots or you can just hold forward to fill up a small glass. As long as you don't overfill the system, no leaks. The top is easy to overfill since it's so tall but that's all of these systems on a stand.The canister system doesn't show fingerprints from clean hands and looks very nice on the counter. The systems like this are tall and take up counter room but for us it's worth it being on a well.Another big feature of this system is that it stores inside of itself for travel in our camper. If you have a camper, you know that awful plastic hose taste and sketchy water quality at campgrounds or poor sanitary handling of the prior camper with their hose.The filters do produce crisp tasting water but we will test our filtered well water from these next month and update.Our well water tasted good prior but tested high in copper and nitrates. So I'm anxious to see how our water tests after being filtered with these.I really wanted a Berkey system but I simply couldn't afford their filters as we go through a lot of drinking and cooking water daily. I'll update after our well water is tested with these filters.From what I can tell and read, the canister system will accept other standard brands of filters.Over all, I'm very pleased with this system, especially with the quality of the canister system.

I would recommend this water filter, I love the taste of the water it tastes like the water I grew up on out in the country, back then we didn't put anything in the water, it was just fresh well water. We live out in the country again in a trailer park and they dump a lot of salt in and the water is always brown it affects our clothes, and sinks and when we cook etc.. They claim it is from Iron in it? But this filter gets rid of the iron, and it is nice to be able to cook noodles and not see the brown water. I did find out though if you over fill the top tank you will have a leak, from the top tank to the bottom tank, so you just add as much water as you take out and problem solved. But we have cut way down on having to buy bottled water, and bottled water is really not good for you with the plastic in it, so we can avoid that now too.

I really love mine. Water tastes fabulous! The directions were not great (which I knew reading the reviews) and the spot is not centered because I didn’t have to proper tools to get it tight and straight at the same time, but still functions great. Filtered through about 3 cycles before I used it to drink. Great product
