This is needed to keep foam gun from getting gummed up inside and stopping to work well. I had a gun that was getting pretty bad after using for two years and not having cleaning solution.I put this through it and it really cleaned up nicely. It now works great again. I will use it after I foam from now on.

I replaced flooring using Advantech and research led me to Advantech recommending this type of adhesive to glue their boards, I was like okay and didn't think anything of it. well I had to back and do some trimming and changes and hollow cow the boards were glued so well I had to use a multitool to remove the part of the boards that were glued. Excellent product. No possibility of squeaky floors.

This chemical cleaner works great to clean off the expanding foam residual on most surfaces. I utilize this to mainly clean the dispensing gun and any build up on the tip. The chemical seems to work like brake cleaner, haven't tried to use brake cleaner but I wonder if it would work just as well. But I recommend purchasing this cleaner to maintain your dispensing gun operational.

This stuff is handy. While it does clean the foam gun, I use it for many other purposes. Acetone is a universal solvent. Spray it on paper towels and wipe foam and spray glue while fresh.

Works great to clean uncured foam from the gun , It screws onto the applicator gun and flushes it out It also has a spray nozzle so that you can clean the outside of the gun etc.you don’t need to use the cleaner every time you replace the foam but you should never leave the gun without a pressurised foam can attached unless you have cleaned it thoroughlyI commonly leave the foam connected to my gun for weeks at a time without useing the cleaner I generally flush the gun With cleaner about every 3 or 4 foam cans unless I notice a change in the performance of the gunThere is enough cleaner To totally flush the gun about 3 times IT ONLY WORKS ON THE FOAM BEFORE IT HARDENSIT WILL NOT CLEAN A GUN IF THE FOAM HAS HARDENED. (Buy a new gun)THIS IS POTENT STUFF I RECOMMEND USEING IT OUTSIDEIT DRIES YOUR HANDS OUT REALLY BADLY

This cleaner works very well when shot through the gun, cleaning out the gunk in a few trigger pulls. This newest one I ordered comes with the clever addition of a fingertip spray valve. All you do is screw it on place temporarily to convert the can into a hand sprayer without the gun attached. Very handy.

I have been using this system for some time and have discovered some money saving tips for other users. The partially used foam cans can be reused if the valve on the cans are completely cleaned with the carbon tet gun cleaner and I mean perfectly cleaned. I also ran into an issue where the gun flush would not flow through the gun after several uses over an extended period of time. I solved this problem by replacing the tiny "O" ring on the flush can valve with a new similar "O" ring. This solves the problem because the "O" ring becomes smaller in diameter due to its compression when screwed into the gun thus not depressing the can valve. I hope this helps others same money who have had similar problems with this system. All in all this is a great foam gun system and is much cheaper than the waste that comes from using the Great stuff in retail cans.

I highly recommend keeping a can of this stuff when using any of the Great Stuff expanding foam, including the self-dispensing cans you get from local hardware stores. normally I would not use a full self-dispensing can in one application, and would have a lot of half-full cans lying around, but they all have clogged tips. But by using a spray of this in the can stem, and a metal screw, you can unclog them with ease!Definitely worth the money if you use a lot of the expandable foam cans!
