It mat be OK, but I couldn't hook it up. It needs something to connect the wires to.

I have used this 4 times and up to 4’ deep in saltwater. I had issues with other lights leaking in the past so I coated this light with silicone and leak seal to be cautious. That was after using it 4 times with no issues. I am running the light with a 20v Dewalt battery and it’s bright enough to flounder gig. Comes with 10’ of wire that’s already water tight.

I really like the light but the mounting bracket is not made of stainless steel like the mounting bolts. I made my own bracket out of brass so it will last.

i used this on my home made giggin light with a dewalt adapter and so far it has worked great. I have only had in the water once hard to say how long it will last but so far so good. Very bright

I got one light and opted to attach it to a wood pole with a wood screw vs using the pvc head. It worked great in a aluminum flats boat with one person poling, one person holding the light and one gigging. I just got another one, that I plan to attach to the boat for a broad light and have the other on the pole in order to check out specific spots.Great light!

Got this last summer and used it a few times over a week at the beach and it worked great. Fast forward a year later getting ready for another beach trip turn it on and now only half of it lights up. It's been stored in the house unmolested since the first trip there's no reason they should have stopped working. So unbelievably disappointed in this product.

Bought this before summer vacation to use on the beach at night with the kids. We absolutely loved the light because of it illuminated everything underwater. This light is way better then the headlamps that we typically use and I was excited. After only one use I washed it off with fresh water and then sprayed the bolts/hinges with WD-40 to make sure nothing rust from the salt water. That was the one and only time that I used the light while on vacation. Fast forward to last week when I finally get a chance to take the kayak and gig out and again I’m super stoked because I know the light is gonna do a great job and I would see the fish I was after. With all the rush to get everything ready and get out to the flats I don’t actually inspect the light. Before buying the light I had seen the other reviews about water getting into the light but thought to myself that they were flukes and It wouldn’t happen to the one I had because it had done such a wonderful job the first time that I used it. I would be wrong. Still without looking at the end of the light I’m out wading in knee deep water with a kayak tied to my waste and a gig in my other hand ready to slock a doormat. I connect the battery and realize that I’m only seeing half the light that I remember. Pulled the light out of the water and my heart sank to see that somehow water did get into my light during the first time using it. Of course that pretty much ended my gigging for the night and I paddled back in with a low hanging bottom lip. Don’t get me wrong I think the light is a wonderful light and I would like to have another one. But if do I will be checking all seams and adding some type of extra sealant to ensure no water can penetrate the light casing.

Product worked flawlessly for me the first two nights. I was impressed with the brightness and it ability to run for over 5 hrs. Water unfortunately got into one side and 3 of the lights stopped working. Disappointing because it was working so well. (Update: 1 week later, customer support was very kind and helped me replace the unit with a perfect one. I will buy a few more in the future!)
