I’ve been using these greenhouse hoops for a couple of months now, and they’ve held up decently against rain and heat. However, strong winds have been a real challenge. A few times, they got torn up, so they might not be the best option if you’re in a particularly windy area. That said, they still serve their purpose well. They’re easy to set up, and they do a good job of supporting row covers or netting. I’ll be using them again for the summer to help keep insects off my Molokhia greens.

The rods in this set of garden hoops seem to be very sturdy, yet also pretty flexible. I was able to use 4 rods together to make a hoop over my 20" galvanized steel garden bed. The rods are connected together with included metal connectors. The connectors are fairly loose, which makes connecting the rods pretty easy, but it is also a little challenging when you are moving the connected rods around to put them in place in the garden because they tend to disconnect easily as well. The hoops stay in place fairly well as long as you can sink them down pretty deeply and brace them against the sides of your garden bed. The included clips are kind of hard to put on the rods, but they do stay in place. All-in-all, they work well enough in my narrow galvanized steel garden beds where I can push them down pretty deep into the ground.

Long story short, don't buy this. The Hdeoops Greenhouse Hoops Grow Tunnel is advertised to be a great way to supply hoops to cover your garden. As listed, they show these rods being able to bend. Let me tell you right now, there is absolutely NO bend in them whatsoever! I easily broke one of the poles before it even bent the slightest. The plastic connection pieces are cheaply made, they will snap after one season in the sun, or with removing and reapplying with the changing weather. The metal connection pieces don't stay in place and immediately slide right off. Along with not receiving what I was expecting, I am missing one of the metal connectors. There are supposed to be 20, but I only received 19. Not only did I get a crummy product, but I’m also missing parts. This wasn’t worth my time.

This comes with the right number of rods and connectors, but the clamps the send is 8 short. This is the second set like that. I won't recommed these.

The Greenhouse Hoops Grow Tunnel is a fantastic addition to my garden! The rust-proof fiberglass frame is sturdy and durable, and the 7FT height is perfect for creating a protective tunnel for my plants. I love that it comes with 5 sets of hoops, giving me plenty of options to cover multiple areas. The material is great for supporting plant netting or shade cloth, and it's so easy to set up. It's a great way to extend the growing season and protect my plants from the elements. Highly recommend!

This is a set of 25 fiberglass rods, each of which is 15.7 inches. You fit them in series with metal sleeves that connect them into longer fiberglass rods (it is recommended that you use them in groups of five) then bend them into hoops and install them over a small garden patch as the frame for a sun blocking or frost blocking cover (not included). They work pretty well, but even for a small garden patch (mine is only four feet long,) they need additional supports to stay reasonably straight and upright. I installed them using electrical cable supports to attach them to the sides of my raised bed, stabilizing the hoops. I use the hoops to support a blanket cover to keep my plants from freezing on the rare occasions when frost is predicted here in North Florida. The metal connectors are not particularly snug, and overall, this system is not a particularly good value for the price. It works, but it still requires a cover of some kind (not included), and in my case additional supports. Any reasonably uniform stick-like supports would work as well and look as good installed.

I combined 5 sticks with the connectors to make 1 hoop. I noticed each stick was very stiff. So I was worried the hoops may not bend well. But it bent easily after I connected 5 sticks. All the sticks fit well with connectors. I used it on a new planter. So the soil was still soft. While I put the garden netting, the hoops wabble a little due to the soft soil. I think the hoops will work better if the soil is hard. This is a issue with my soil, not the hoops. My soil will get harder as time goes. Then I believe the hoops won't wabble. This is kind of thin hoops. So I plan to use it on my smaller planters, like my picture (40 inch x 20 inch). I don't plan to use it for bigger garden. I'm not confident these hoops can protect my 4ft x 8ft garden beds from squirrels. I think squirrels can knock down these hoops. The kit came with clips to attach my netting (or whatever cover I use) to the hoops. But the clips were too tight. I'm afraid the clips will stretch out the netting. Unless I plan to leave the clips on the hoops for a long period of time, I wouldn't use them.
