Decent product but there is a noticeable click when playing but if I turn the stereo up loud enough I can't hear it much.

The sound is awesome, however, I have to turn it for it to work properly lol. I didn't send it back because Im lazy but is annnnnoying when you are listening to music and then you drive and u have to make sure your phone is positioned a certain way or the jack has to be positioned a certain way to work.

I've had mine for a couple of years and it's an awesome product. I left this review after I came back to get a second one for my brother-in-law. For the best sound quality, the goal is to have the volume in the car as low as possible to avoid excessive noise from the car's audio amplification. On the other hand, some MP3 players introduce audio distortion when the volume on them is turned up all the way. I try to have the phone audio between 75% and 95% and then fine tune it with the car volume. Just keep that in mind when you're using it and it will give you clear, bright, loud audio.I actually had broken mine when I got my foot tangled up in the audio cord and ripped it out as I was getting out of the car. I was able to easily take out the screws holding it together and re-solder the wires back to the small circuit board inside. It's still going strong!

It's good to be able to hear my Kindle on audio through the radio in the car. I don't hear well and I can turn the volume up as loud as needed now. Couldn't do that with using the Kindle audio alone.

This is less susceptible to noise than my previous cassette adaptor (a Sony), but is very treble heavy. This is probably good for my primary purpose, audio books, because it helps it cut through background car noise - but it is not so good for music. Otherwise this appears to be a reliable unit.

Received this product right away and it works great. I was pleasantly surprised especially when the guy at the Apple store said that it was "okay". I think it sounds pretty good over the speakers in my car. I have a 2002 Toyota Camry. So happy to download and listen to my music everywhere I go!

The Griffin GC17041 works perfectly. I connected my iPod shuffle and did not experience any problems. The sound quality is very good, far better than I had expected. For the price it is an absolute bargain, highly recommended if your car doesn't have a stereo with an MP3 and/or CD Player.

This product sounds great so far. I've only had it for a month but it's still works fine for me. The only issue is that my cassette player has trouble reading it when my iPod changes songs. I just have to push the tape button on my radio and it will start working again. other than that I am happy with the product.

Didn't work. The cord was bent and malfunctioning. I don't feel totally awful having only spent a dollar or so on it - but I wouldn't order another one. I didn't even bother fighting with a return or exchange. I'm sure had the cord not been bent it would've worked great.

I have used a lot of different cassette adapters in my day. The cheap ones sound cheap, and I always had a problem with volume not being loud enough, only one side of the stereo playing, or just poor sound quality. The Griffin cassette adapter sounds just like the audio I plug into it, and it sends a really strong signal into my stereo. If I turn up my mp3 player all the way, I only have to turn my stereo to a 2 or 3 and it is plenty loud. Don't blow your speakers!!
