This is a non traditional shape football backplate. Style and look is interesting but not very large for an adult or high school player to use. Does not have ability to add side pads to this backplate.Good if your just looking for a backplate.

I picked up the Grip Boost Fly Plate Football Back Plate for my son and its a great addition to his football pads. He's only a sophomore and isn't the biggest guy but I got him the adult size plate because let's be real, he's only a few inches and pounds shy of my size and he keeps growing, so this is perfect for him!He loves the PEACE sign on the plate since its such a positive note and he had zero issues mounting it to his pads by himself. He used it for the first time in practice the other day and noticed the difference when he wrapped up the ball carrier for a solid tackle. He says it's comfortable to wear and he barely notices its there. My wife is at ease now knowing he has an extra level of padding and as a linebacker delivering some big hits, he needs it! The plate has levels of adjustment so it can be mounted to hang higher or lower depending on your body type. Hardware is included for installation and as I said before, it's straightforward. Great product that's already paid itself off! Five stars!

This is a perfect back plate. It attaches to my pads easily and doesn't really feel like there's anything there. It doesn't feel annoying like most back plates I've tried. This one just fits me really good. The quality is great so I'm thinking it'll last me a few more football years.
