I've had one of grip6's narrow belts for a good 6 months and its going strong. This made me decide to try their standard size belt (width of belt) it's noticeably wider, but slides into my pants belt loops just as easy and is extremely comfortable just as the narrow one was. The narrow one i have was what they called granite (looks like standard silver colored buckle) i got this gunmetal one in and loved the color. These belts have awesome infinite adjustability, they hold up much better than belts with loops especially leather and i don't mind paying a bit more for a great belt made in the usa with a lifetime warranty. I now have 3 grip6 belts and all are holding up well.

After about a decade on here, this is my first review, because I'm stoked on this product and seller. I love the belt, and it's my second one. (No, the other one hasn't disintegrated, I'm still using it and it's probably 4 years old.) I was originally sent a different strap from what I ordered; the ad didn't say which of the GRIP6 strap styles it should be, but it was different from the ad picture. On top of that, turns out I should've sized down from L to M. I messaged the seller, and they were really accommodating. Kait asked for a pic, and then she sent me the strap I wanted, in medium like I need, and she said to keep the other strap. The best thing about the belt is that it doesn't slip. It stays snug, and is easy to loosen or tighten. In that regard, my first GRIP6 belt is one of the best belts I've ever had, and hands down the best non-leather belt (shout out NJ Skateshop for making a shop-branded buckle).

I bought this belt primarily because I wanted a nice, reliable, high-quality piece of kit that was made in the USA. I try to buy as much stuff that's made in the USA as possible and I'll even pay a premium to do it. I broke a made-in-China ratchet belt a few weeks ago and sought to find a replacement. I really liked the idea of the Grip6 belt. It's definitely high quality and has good design and craftsmanship. It's presented simply and is well thought-out. It looks understated and is crazy lightweight. But I didn't keep it and returned it because it's... fussy. I literally wore it for 10 minutes and tried to acquaint myself with the unorthodox clasp/clamp/friction mechanism before I realized that I didn't want to "learn" how to wear a belt. Don't get me wrong here; it's a great idea and for a ton of people it's probably awesome, but I did not find it easier, faster, or more convenient than a ratcheting belt. When I undo my belt I want it to come off quickly and cinch down as fast. I didn't want to have to re-train my brain to do a belt a different way, so it just isn't for me. I'm not a jerk and I'm not going to give a single star because I didn't like the ONE THING this belt is TOTALLY DESIGNED TO DO. It gets 4 stars from me because it's a great piece of kit, but it's not the right thing for me. Sorry Grip6. Make a ratcheting belt in USA and I'll buy it.

The craftmanship behind this belt is superb. Kudos for the person that came up with this design. Great product made in the USA.

I’ve always loved interesting belts and owned a variety of differing styles, so I was keen to try this simple redesigned Grip6 belt out. It’s got a great low profile buckle with the added benefit of fitting your waist exactly, instead of relying on a fixed set of hole sizes. So if you’ve eaten too much, just readjust a touch and you’re good to go. This Grip6 belt sits really snugly and doesn’t work loose, whilst still looking great through out the day, no matter what you’re doing either.I’m a UK size 32” (81.28cm) and bought a 105cm belt, but the 100cm belt would have worked too. So long as you choose a belt that’s at least 5-10cm longer than your actual waist size you’ll be fine. The only down side I can list isn’t a Grip6 issue, but the import tax to the UK. I bought 2 of these belts and paid £13 extra to get them after customs added their 29% and the Royal Mail added an £8 handling charge! That still doesn’t beat the fact that these are exceptional belts. Once I find a UK supplier, I’ll be buying a lot more of them.

My past few belts have all deteriorated pretty quickly. I was hesitant to buy this since it's quite a bit more expensive than I thought it would be, but this has held up perfectly! It's sleek, looks clean, sits flush, and is so comfortable! I never want to go back to the cheaper belts I used to wear.

I must admit I was skeptical, but when it arrived I thought it to be a good value. I'm a 36-37 waist. All my pants are 36. I ordered the 38, just to be sure. It's a little long, but not too much. The design of the belt keeps the tail webbing tucked securely behind the front webbing. I may trim it a bit and flame seal it, but I don't really see a need to do that for now. If you are concerned about the size, go for the larger size. You can always cut it down, but not vice versa. As for some of the questions about it being a good gun belt. It is 1.5 inches wide, but not a rigid as a true gun belt like the nylon ones with extra stitching and stiffening material. Having said that I find it works perfectly with my Glock 43 in a TT snap-off OWB pancake holster if I cinch it up. It is very comfortable and secure. Granted, that is a lightweight rig. I haven't tried it with my Colt 1911 in a similar holster, but I think it will do just fine. I would recommend a holster with 1.5 inch loops, and not any larger so the holster stays positioned. It probably wouldn't do well as a duty belt, or carrying a heavy hunting magnum, but for concealed carry it's fine for me and all day wear, especially in the summer. Not as hot or as uncomfortable as a leather belt. If you prefer an Inside-The-Waistband carry, you definitely want to go with a longer belt. That buckle system will not slip. As for some of the complaints about how the buckle works, it's pretty easy. If you have a problem, just check out the YouTube videos. However I wouldn't admit to your friends you had to watch a video to figure out how to put your belt on and off ;-) Highly recommended; comes with a great guarantee.

I’ve always been the leather belt kinda guy, I have spent good money on expensive belts but this one has changed it all. After wearing for a week I can safely say I will wear this belt for a very long time, it’s surprising how much more effective this is compared to a traditional leather belt. With the infinite adjustability it actually keeps my pants up all day. I have a nice Red Wing belt that has been the staple but it just doesn’t hold my pants up like this one, it has stretched over time and unfortunately my pants now sag because of it. I also have a Saddleback leather Tow belt and it is so thick and robust, along with its construction it will never stretch, but it’s uncomfortable and heavy. This is by far the best belt you can buy for lightest weight, classic look and functionality.
