  • No, the GripGrab Arctic Deep Winter Road Shoe Covers are only meant to be used with summer road cycling shoes.

  • Please note that you put these shoe covers on before you put on your road bike shoes. Open the hook-and-loop closure strap on the sole, slide them on over your socks, put your shoes on and then pull the covers down over the shoes.

  • The purpose of using winter cycling shoes is that you don't need to wear shoe covers. If you still want to do so, please choose at least one size larger to accommodate the bulk of winter boots.

I got a better pair for almost half the price. These covers don’t look like they will stay on as the lip that hook over the shoe is so short.Returned.

After 1 30+ mile ride in the mid to high 30s, i can say they are warm enough for VA winter ridding. Going down to the 20s might be too much would be a challenge. They feel sturdy enough for years of winter fun. I sized up and am glad - the fit was tight enough and the fight to get them in was tolerable.

Said they were XL, but would probably only fit over a small woman's cleat. Don't waste your money..

Ok so I live in AZ it doesn’t get super cold, but the other day it was in the high 20s early in the morning when I went out to ride. These things performed admirably. Kept my feet warm the entire 25 mile ride. I bough the Large as was recommended, I have a 9 1/2 foot. But, boy were they a challenge to get on. No zipper on these covers, unlike all my other cold weather covers. If I had to do it again I’d buy XL

I did a gravel race this past weekend 40 miles into the race the front of the cover had lifted off the toe portion of the cycling shoe. While this did not inhibit my ride in any way and probably helped my feet stay cooler as temperatures rose one should make certain the front of the shoe cover is secure by slightly pulling the shoe cover over the front and slightly onto the underside of the cycling shoe. Very snug and takes some time to put on and off.

I am not sure if these are good or bad. I wear a size 13 shoe (46 EU size and overall shoe length of 12.5" ). I purchased a XXL which was a 47 to 49 EU sizing. It was a struggle to get them on initially. I feel that the shoe sizing is a very undersized. They might be ok for someone with a smaller and narrower foot.Secondly, there a velcro strap ( a hook and a loop) on the bottom of the cover which are pulled together when the shoe cover is on. The hood and loop both are too short and barely come together to secure the sides of cover. They really need to be 1 to 2 inches longer. It makes it very difficult to walk in my home because the hook side keeps catching carpet and rugs. Very frustrating.Bottom line, they keep my feet warm.
