Using them for my two horse trailer's safety tow chains and the clip for the horse's butt chain. Used them quite a few times and no problems yet. They are easy to get on and off and aren't too heavy to maneuver. Size is perfect to fit in the clip areas for safety chains in my 2001 Chevy Silverado's hitch mount without too much play. Using it as the latch on our horse butt chains is pretty good too. The spring lock is quick to latch back and is easy to slip on the rings. I'm lucky I haven't had the opportunity to test their strength but they feel like they could pull the trailer's weight if my hitch had a problem.
