The purpose of this plate is solely to prevent electrical problems and unnecessary corrosion and debris inside your Sur Rons or Segways frame. The photos above are showing 1 day out at an MX track without a plate. Now imagine this over the course of 1 year, in fact how about when you wash your bike. You will literally be putting debris directly into your electrical system.

Great cap for hole in frame. I used a automotive body pane plastic pushpin fits perfectly id buy again.

Questionable quality of printing. Lower tab broke off when bolted into place. Still functional, but not totally secure.

It still does exactly as described. But I thought it was an alloy of sorts, unfortunately I didn’t pay close enough attention. For most this is good for the price… but for those with several 3d printers that would rather have a metal part, it doesn’t make sense. Unless of course you are also lazy.
