These are so much better than wire ties. Easy to apply, sturdy , can be cleaned and reused. Well worth it.

Love them for tying up tomatoes or cucumbers. Easy to reposition. Don’t abrade vines. Hold tight onto string.

These clips are a real life saver. I bought them for my tomato plants but use them for everything. They are made of good quality material and the catch mechanism works great. The clasp holds on to the string support very well with good strength. I recently made the mistake of buying a similar product from another supplier and regret it. The product is a clear plastic and flexible making it very hard to close the clasp. They were cheaper but not worth the hassle. So beware these items are not all made the same.

I have been using these brown clips for years, the exact same ones. They are easy to put on and then take off to move as your plant grows. I just learned how to connect 2 together for more versatility.

The HydroFarm clips are great. 100/100 were usable, very sturdy, no breakage and can be repositioned many times. I liked these enough that I ordered more and this time received a package with ~10 or more deformed and broken clips out of 100. Additionally, the color was slightly different, the plastic more brittle and several broke when installing. After further review, the second batch of clips I received weren’t in HydroFarm packaging and had completely different labels. See attached photos. Shame on me for not realizing it before opening, but shame on the seller for passing me a knockoff product. Make sure to check your package to ensure you receive the authentic version. The knock-offs are junk.

These are the best made tomato clips. They are reasonably durable and can be used multiple times. Also look better than the white or clear clips. A bit expensive.

These are way better than the other 2 brands of clips I have used. The first brand was Kinglake 200 for $15.65( $.078 each )and they worked but the sun degrades them and by the end of the season and for sure the next season they were breaking. The next brand I bought was Dalzom 300 for $18.2 ($.062 each)and they were pathetic and many broke at the hinge when you folded them in half to use them, there's broke at the hinge later on in the season and my tomato plants fell off the string. The Gordan clips are much higher quality and they fold in half really nicely and they hold on to the string better. The Gordon clips are also thicker and they click closed and and open much easier than the other 2 brands. I use them with Paracord 550 which is a much heavier string that will last for 5 years or loner as opposed to the tomato twine that breaks down by the end of the season and snaps and your tomato plant falls and gets damaged. They Gordan clips work with the paradors 550 really well and much better tan the other 2 brands. The Gordon clips cost $.149 each which is about twice what the other clips cost but $.07 more is so worth it!

haven't had a single broken one yet, unlike some of the cheaper white or seethru plastic clips. My community garden has had these in circulation for a few years and they're still going strong

Worked great so far for my plants, will update how it works out throughout the year as I have a windy spot.

These are much stronger than the other brands. They’re also a little larger so they can be used to clip a branch to a trellis if running a string is not convenient. When using with string/garden twine, as intended, they are also superior to other brands because you can clasp the string/twine using one hand because the little teeth are larger and the hinge is built better. Since the hinge is built so much better you can also open and reposition clip as needed. Okay I don’t think any of that is going to make a lot of sense if you’ve not tried this style of clip. I do know that I bought both these (the terra cotta/brown ones) and the other brands (any clear/white/ huge package cheap price) and there is no competition. Buy these even though the price feels like you are wasting your money.

I used them for three years for tomatoes, cucumbers and squash on strings as well as on metal mesh. This year I ordered 3 more packs - for more production not because any of the previous clips were damaged. I think it is a really good product and I recommend it.
