Grounding tester is used to test the continuity and effectiveness of Grounding products. The product includes a Grounding tester, a 15-foot cable and an instruction, batteries are not included. Please read the instruction carefully before use.
When using the Grounding tester, the Grounding product does not need to be plugged in, just turn on the tester switch, plug in the front jack, and directly touch with the other end of the Grounding product you want to test. When the green light is on, it will prove that the product is Grounded.

It works well and allows for testing the cable as well as the sheet, which is great. The instructions are easy to understand and read (I have bifocals). However, not mentioned in the instructions is that you need to press the tester onto the sheet with a firm hand and have the plug end touching the silver lines. If either of these things aren't done, the result is negative, which was very confusing for me initially, as everything else about the tester seemed to be working.Until I figured it out, I thought my grounding sheet was a dud. Fortunately, that's not the case!Other than that initial hiccup, I'm quite pleased with the tester.

I had picked up a grounding pillowcase and wanted to find a way to "double check" if was properly grounded or even working. Well, this tester is pretty simple but it seems its just testing the integrity and continuity of the pillowcase (it has the fine conductive grids). This is fine as I already tested the ground of my house outlets and this will work. Good news is that my pillowcase checks out

This is easy to use and effectively checks both conductivity of grounding mat and also the continuity of the grounding mat wire. I always double check with a multi-meter and this thing always works 100%. Very happy with this item.

This is very nice and useful. It doesn't test the grounding or not, but tests the cord and the grounding sheet. So make sure to test your houses grounding first. These is simple and works well and as expected. It runs off of 2 AAA batteries. I used rechargeable ones and it works well. Instructions are ok but not super clear. No issues with this.

This does not need to be plugged into the outlet to work. It confirmed that one set of sheets I was suspicious of not working was indeed not working and I was able to return it and show pictures of how it was not grounding. It's hard to determine false claims in grounding sheets and this helps.

It doesn't work. Resorted to just using my ohmmeter.

I have only had it a few days so I can't speak to longevity of product, but WOW is an understatement! The health and mental health benefits I'm getting from grounding products and just being barefoot on grass has been beyond anything I have tried by far. But I find most of the information out there is not explained well for a layperson. I am not trained at all in electricity so I can't recommend or say anyone else should try this, but I tried putting my finger on the sensor. The directions never mention this option, just to test the product by putting it on the mat but I wanted to know if my actual body was grounded in various situations. I went to my basement and turned it to the on position and the second my bare foot hit the bare cement, the light turns green when my finger is on the sensor. Then I know for a fact that I am grounded. Then I tried touching my grounding mat with the device (as directions say) and light turned green. Then I tested my body by touching my finger with the sensor while another hand was touching the grounding mat and light turned green. Then I put my cotton sheet over my grounding mat, touching my hand to the sheet, and tested my finger and no green light so I knew I wasn't grounded if the mat had a sheet over it. The second I touch my bare feet to the grass, the light turns green when my finger is on the sensor. I find this device SO useful because the way I've been using it, I can see if the grounding devices I have are working but also test myself in various situations. I am going to get all leather shoes next and try the finger method to see if they are grounding me when outside or cement or grass. I can try any grounding shoes I might get in the future (the ones with the copper or carbon) by walking outside and touch the sensor. I'm getting the shoe straps and can use the sensor to see if I am grounded. With regular shoes, even when on the grass, the light doesn't turn green when touching my finger which is what I expected to happen. On a cement front porch which is hollow underneath, I found that I am grounded. I was surprised by this but now can sit there with barefeet and know I am grounded using this device. I find the device very accurate and useful when using it this way. Hopefully it is safe for me to be using it this way. So far, I haven't had any issues. I will get an alligator clip next and use my grounding mat in the car clipped to the metal under the seat and test my finger to see if I'm grounded. Grounding is essential to health imo and I have noticed a huge difference in a very short time. I am trying to ground as many hours a day as I can. Hope this review helps!

Received this continuity tester today and it was missing the conductive metal disc on the back. It does a great job testing a cord for continuity but not a grounding mat.
