I love these tuners so easy to string your guitar with these tuners. I installed them on a guitar I built. They are well worth the price! I think these are the best tuners on the market. Wish I could afford to put them on every guitar I have!

These tuners for guitar are a pro's tool. They are extremely easy to tune, no string slippage. Rotomatic tuners are great gear because they are accurate. Proper Tuning is essential, to playing well. I use a Luther. I've had put other tuners on. It's a great way to screw up your guitar thinking you're the man, and installing these yourself. If you are qualified, go for it. If not get your guy, or girl to install these. I'm trying to save you headaches.Just know these tuners will change your sound for the better, because you're better able to keep proper tuning.Changing strings is not a chore, anymore.

I, like many others, thought I received the wrong product when these arrived. These are not the locking tuners that I’m used to. They’re smaller. Not bulky. And there is no lock wheel to turn. Blasphemy?The good news:- They install easily- They tune very well. Smooth and precise- The auto-lock really does work- They look like regular tunersNo comments on stability - that’s not what locking tuners are for in the end. Locking tuners exist for quick string changes and these seem to facilitate that. It’s nice to see some creativity.

They installed easily on my Mexican Strat, and instantly improved tuning stability.Since they're Grover, the material and workmanship, as well as function, are top notch! I'll probly buy then again for my next project.

This set of locking tuners was purchased for a kit guitar I built, based on a Gibson Explorer. It was important that the tuner buttons be smaller than normal in order to fit the smaller width "6 on a side" string spacing on the headstock. These are simply the best. They don't use a thumbscrew like a lot of others and make string swapping about as painless as it gets. The cheapo tuners that came with the kit were the same physical layout, so converting over to these was really a no-brainer.The tuners are smooth as silk and the tuning ratio is high enough to make fine tuning really easy, with no slop in the back and forth when tuning.As to whether they will make your string changes faster, I can't say, as I usually take the opportunity to clean up the guitar while the strings are off, but it you're on a gig, you can likely change a single broken string in two minutes or less with these. I have a couple more Explorer kits in my workshop and they will each get a set of these tuners. They're miles above the cheap tuners that come with most kits.

Bought for my IYV telecaster, as the tuners it came with refused to stay in tune. They are a perfect fit, totally keeps in tune now and the price is right. If they didn't charge TWICE!!! as much for gold, I'd buy a set for my Epiphone Les Paul, which has regular Grovers.

I got these to upgrade my girlfriend's Ibanez Mikro RG. I've always been a fan of Grovers' durability and smooth gear ratio. Very simple to install and prefect size for the small scale guitar; although, I wouldn't feel weird about putting these on a full size guitar. The string locking function makes string changes a breeze! They hold tune very well. They look very well made and came with a couple extra mounting screws. The chrome looks very nice and nothing like the cheap Chinese tuners that came on the guitar. I would recommend 10/ 10 to someone looking for an affordable upgrade to their guitar's tuners. I will probably pick up another set for my next guitar project. Don't overthink these if you're considering them for your next guitar project or upgrade. You can definitely spend more money on even higher quality tuners, but these hit a home run for the budget I was working with.Røck 'n Röll!

First of all, they don't feel smooth to use like my other set of Grovers. Almost as if they were not 18:1 gearing but something more coarse.Secondly, they keep snapping strings and are unusable with a set of 9s. They snapped my top E string (at the tuning peg) as I was tuning up for the first time. Then again. After a trip to local guitar shop I tried, carefully, a 10 gauge top E instead of 9. This worked ok. Just today I changed all the strings, trying a set of 9s again ... PING! E string snapped again.I just checked and Amazon say the Return window closed on Aug 2nd, over three weeks ago. Great. I'm stuck with this junk. I'm going to put my old Squire standard tuners back on. They feel at least as good and never snap the strings.

love these tuners order another set easy to install guitar stays in tune perfectly after a couple songs and put them on a really inexpensive guitar and all i replaced was the springs on it after the strings stretched for awhile and adjusted it started staying in tune really well even better more expensive guitars easy to restring with save time cause it holds the string it wraps around post tuners feel nice and comfortable while adjusting very smooth gears dont have to put much effort when tightening the strings on it very solid and heavy metal probably some the best tuners you can buy for the price fit my inexpensive strat type perfectly without drilling extra holes or anything excellent tuners cant go wrong with the price

I bought this to replace the very poor And completely unusable tuners on my kids’ Ibanez Gio 3/4 guitar. It’s easy to install (no drilling required for the Gio) and works very well. Makes tuning easy and stays in tune.

The best locking tuners I've seen. I put these Grovers on my mim tele and it stays in tune forever. They are 2/3's the cost of Fender locking tuners and I'm very happy I bought them. I will be buying another set for a project guitar in the near future!

Es la mejor compra que pude haber hecho para mejorar mi guitarra. Los compré porque uno de los afinadores de fábrica de mi Ibanez fr se había descompuesto. Toco en una banda de rock en Cancún y algunas noches hago dos sets en distintos escenarios, el primero en la playa y el segundo en un bar con aire acondicionado, mi guitarra estaba desafinada todo el tiempo y yo pensaba que era por el cambio tan drástico de clima. Desde que tengo los totomatic instalados la afinación de mi guitarra es super estable aún con cambios drásticos de clima el cambio es mínimo. Instalarlos es fácil, he leído muchas reseñas donde les dan mala calificación porque hay que taladrar la guitarra pero seamos relisatas, esto va a pasar con cualquier maquinaria que no sea la original, también hay que leer las instrucciones, mucha gente se queja de que los locking tuners no permiten dar ni una vuelta a la cuerda en el poste, pero de eso se trata precisamente, de eso depende que la afinación sea estable.
