For a baby who soaks their diapers regularly. These are very absorbent. As they admit on the Grovia website, they are bulkier than the regular cotton soakers so you may find yourself going up a size in clothes sooner than you’d expected. I also don’t recommend using them fir sleeping after baby has started rolling over in their sleep as they leak out the sides.

I’m reviewing the hybrid shell and super soaker liner combination (both from Grovia)These are probably the best quality diaper I have, they are also the priciest. I have had very few if any leaks in these. They are very easy to put on. I appreciate how the insert conveniently snaps in place. The hook and loop is very easy to open and close (just as easy as a disposable. They are a bit bulky (more so than a pocket diaper that requires one insert, but less so than a pocket diaper that doesn’t work well and requires double inserts). I sometimes used Thirstie’s inserts in these and that was a less bulky option that worked pretty well (though doesn’t snap in). Even though these are good quality they are definitely the priciest diaper I have. I also am not the biggest fan of their look/design. The company appears to have an emphasis on ethical practices. Also, despite the high quality absorbancy of the liners, they don't take a particularly long time to dry. Also, for the wrap and cover system in general (not just this brand), the pros are that they can be a little easier on the go (packing mostly liners) and it’s just something different. The cons are that it can be a little challenging to actually use them for 3-4 diaper changes. I found a number of times when I would naturally want to fully change the diaper, like after a bath or times when we switch to a disposable (bedtime, etc.) (we cloth diaper about 70% of the time), as well as when they get dirty.

Can I say how much I love these no preps? They are super absorbent, soft, easy to clean, and actually stay dry on my baby's skin. The first time I used it, my baby slept for hours. When he woke up I panicked thinking he didn't pee that whole time. Turns out the inside was soaked. I seriously love these and have recommended them to my friend for her baby.

We’ve tried four or five brands of reusable cloth diapers, and these are BY FAR my favorite.Unlike All-In-Ones, we are able to change the insert and reuse the shell two to four times before it gets wet or dirty, which cuts down on laundry. They’re also better than other All-In-Two brands we’ve tried, because the No-Prep inserts have a moisture proof (resistant?) backing that means the moisture stays inside the insert instead of leaking clear through. (The shell stays dry and your hands don’t get soaked in pee when you unsnap them to change inserts!)Our daughter is only four months old, so I can’t speak to their capacity for bigger babies, or how they hold up to wear and tear over a year or longer, but we’ve been using these day and night since she switched from Newborn to Size 1 and we never looked back. They’re holding up great, and they very rarely leak (and when they do, it’s either a HUGE pee/poop and/or user error). We’ve literally used three disposable diapers since we switched, and that’s because I wasn’t sure how many I needed to get me between laundry cycles. I kept ordering them in stages and I think we’re up to about twelve shells and twice as many inserts. I do a load of diapers every two to three days, but I haven’t used a disposable diaper in two months!A few things:1) Make sure you extend the wee wings along the inner thighs so they cover the gap between the insert and the gusset.2) Once you get your babe all velcroed in, double-check that all absorbent material (including those wings along the thighs and the top bit of diaper along the lower back) are tucked inside the waterproof shell, otherwise, the pee will wick out onto baby’s clothes.3) Line-drying outside seems best for odors and stains, but we’ve had a pretty rainy summer and the inserts have done okay in the dryer, as well. I usually dry the inserts on low heat, then flip them all inside out and dry them again. (They’re kind of loop-shaped, and the inner bits really hold in the moisture, which is great on baby’s butt, but not so helpful in the dryer.) That second, inside-out cycle usually does the trick. This may seem like a pain, but it goes pretty quickly and it saves you drying the inserts four or five times - which is a waste of time AND electricity.
