Did not give out much light or heat for the needed plants, it is flexible and good maybe for a smaller area or plant tent; or perfect foe an office desk.

I ordered these a few months back but am just now reviewing. I’ve got them placed over a table full of small to medium sized houseplants in front of a large window that faces northeast. So, lots of indirect daylight, but no sunlight. I only use them when there’s been more than 1-2 days of heavy clouds or rain. I'd say the lights have improved my plants’ growth progress by having some “sun” now and then. If your plants actually require sun, then these lights should be a big help. They are extremely bright, so I’ve been careful to keep them tilted inwardly just enough that the multiple bright bulbs can’t annoy the neighboring apartments across the way.The timer function is so useful, even though I’d never use it when I’m not home. I don’t think that would be very safe to do with any light source like this. So the timer is a benefit, and so is the padded clamp. It can be difficult to find an appropriate spot that it can be attached to, but I was able to put it on a bookcase right next to the plant table. It’s not easy with these clamps on so many types of lights recently.Next benefit is the gooseneck style. It reassures me to have it so super flexible for positioning power, yet firmly attached, since I worry about how close I should allow the lights to be to the plants. It’s really a play it by ear thing but I have lost a few leaves to scorching, which was a lesson learned.The only adjustable function to these grow lights is the timer, 4-8-12 hours. I'm not sure why someone mentioned “variable settings for the amount of light” (hours on?) and someone else a “fan.” What I also don’t understand is why the sale page mentions “2000 lumens LED” and “3000k/5000k/660nm,” but the user manual (2 inner pages of 3”x4.5” each, including pictures) has none of that, and just says “LED Power: 200W Equivalent.” The “3000k/5000k” would seem to indicate being able to choose different strengths or kinds of light, such as cool daylight, warm sunlight, blue light, etc like another light I have, but there is no adjusting possible. Just mentioning that in case anyone also wondered. Additionally, the 200W equivalent is apparently split by the two lamps, so 100W each.Overall, this grow light set is good for most plants, but use with caution. As for value for money, there are so many lights for sale with a huge price range that I can’t really be sure. They’re only my second grow light purchase. But I’ll say they are probably a good buy.

I love to have these on hand for a whole host of horticultural uses. I'm not a major grower, but do appreciate some indoor garden atmosphere. Whether it be some simple houseplants or trees, to herb gardens and onward, these are a great item to have. I think I ideally love to have plants that can do well in a natural environment, all things being equal. However, there are simply times when that cannot be achieved. That being said, some artificial enhancement is a welcome boon in such circumstances.These bring the clip-on variety, these are particularly good and being focused top down and/or engaging at various angles on longer vines and tall plants. As well, if you really get itching to produce some indoor fruit, such lights will be a must.I am quite pleased with these, and ever so happy to have them as tools in the home, as are and will be my plants, especially when they are simply a bit extra thirsty for sunlight.

This is a great product. I use it 3 ways:- to supplement the light from an indoor hydroponic garden kit- when starting plants from seed in trays, or supplementing light to seedlings before planting outdoors- to provide artificial sunlight to low light plants in my office that are too far from a window and just need a "boost".I stretch out the gooseneck so it's like a 2 headed giraffe looking down. It provides a great amount of direct light. You can put it closer to established plants than seedlings without burning.For seeds/seedpods, I put it ~ 15 inches away, which raises the temperature a few degrees, then after sprouting I move it to about 2 feet away.If you set up the gooseneck arms to lean over the plant the clips won't hold the table edge. weigh it down or it falls over. Alternatively, keep the gooseneck more upright.Too bad the clips aren't stronger. I debated removing a star, but the light source works so well ... 5 star.

Love the 4,8, and 12 hour timer options. Clip is nice. Very versatile due to flexibility I just wish they were a little taller.

The lights were bright and the timer feature effective. The bulb placement was effective. Due to being lightweight, the functionality and flexibility worked well.

I do a ton of houseplant and propagation work and ran out of space in my windows for them, so I have had to move to grow lights to make sure that they all get proper light, which is why I ordered this grow light set. The unit I received does appear to be as described by the seller and looks like the photos as well. It is easy to use and the timer feature is helpful for me so I don't forget to turn it off and give them too much light or waste electricity.So far they are working for me and I don't have any major complaints. The clip holds pretty well so the lights don't slide down, and the bendable adjustable gooseneck is helpful to be able to direct the light exactly where I want it to go. Overall, these work well for what I need them for, my plants seem happy, and they have met my expectations, so I do recommend them to others in the market for grow lights.
