About this item

  • [Easy to Install] Both the motor and carbon filter are built-in, so you don't need to connect the filter and the fan with duct. No need to hang the filter separately either. You can hang up the unit in any directions you want or simply place it on the floor or shelf.
  • [Quiet and Sleek] This unit is super quiet. Even on its powerful high speed, you can only hear smooth wind-sound without annoying electromagnetic noise. Compact and neat, it is a proper ventilation system which differs from other messy separate fan+ducts+filter combo.
  • [Carbon&HEPA Filter both Available] The kit comes with an included carbon filter (HPEA filter not included). However, both the replacement carbon filter (ASIN B0BW53KH1Q) and HEPA filter (ASIN B0CXGL646W) are available on Amazon. When you don't grow plants you can grab a HEPA replacement filter, and this unit becomes a high performance air purifier of removing dust and PM2.5.
  • [Safe and Efficient] The vent is secured with protective grids, no risk of putting hands or anything into the motor chamber accidently. The motor is DC24V type, working with a regular AC110V to DC24V adaptor, very safe. The centrifugal fan ensures strong airflow 200CFM at max 30W only, very efficient.
  • [Durable and Versatile] Due to high quality, the unit can last over 5 years easily. All accessories like carbon filter, adaptor, speed controller can be replaced easily. It is for grow tent use, but you can also use it for any other applications wherever you need cool down and ventilate the space. Or with optional HEPA filter, it can become a great air purifier. Super worthwhile!

inside wires were getting hit by the fan blade. Took a while to break it down and fixed the shredded power wire. We taped it against the wall and seems to ulrun just fine now.

Thos has decent noise control vs. My older filter units. I use these in my grow tents and they work great.

I grow my own cannabis and decided to install an inline fan and filter to try and reduce the smell in the rest of the house.I chose this specific product because I didn't want to hang it, I wanted a floor model.I noticed the logo they use on the product page is nowhere to be seen, which usually isn't a great sign for me as it's usually due to products being cheap junk from China rebranded and sold at higher costs. The fan was less heavy than I imagined but I am unsure if I would want to hang this thing in a tent like they show in the pictures. The manual isn't just in English, it's some of the best English I've seen from products like this. I don't know if they hired a native English speaking person or what but it's good but it isn't complete. The manual says very little outside of how to set it up.My fan came with a fabric cover on the filter, which I assume is supposed to be there but nothing in the manual even states that I should have gotten one of those. I noticed another review in which they state they use the same product for their paint booth and had to buy their own cover, so maybe that's what it's for? While inspecting the fan I noticed there was big chunks of junk plastic stuck to the blades of the fan I couldn't get off. Fans and airflow devices are precision products and I worry that the extra weight of the plastic that wasn't properly removed is going to imbalance the fan and cause the motor to burn out faster than it should.I very much dislike the controller for the fan as it doesn't give me a lot of confidence it's made out of quality parts. It plugs in to this little 3 pin port and then you use a cap to screw it in to place. I gave it a tug to test it out and could tell it's cheap. Anyone could easily pull on this hard enough and rip it right out. Further, giving the controller a light shake produces rattling sounds. I have no idea what it is but I don't like it.The power block it comes with is also very cheap looking and also makes a rattling noise when I shake it which I really really don't like. How do I know that isn't broken off parts of electronics rolling around in there? A standard PC style cord plugs in to that power block. I don't know why they didn't just have the PC cord plug right in to the unit itself. The hose clamps have got to be the cheapest things I have ever seen. They literally do not work! One of the clamps came unbanded and despite my best efforts I could not get it back together. The other hose clamp is banded together but the small screw used to tighten the loop doesn't work. It just spins in place. What kind of quality control is this company running when they can't even make some hose clamps that work? This alone makes me pause and wonder about the quality of the overall product.I got the whole thing set up and running in my grow room right now, I'll update this review further as I see how well it works and for how long.

Not a lot of this type I take fan out there. Works just fine feeding I to grow tent. Of course you need to exhaust so get balanced pressure. Wish it had a click by click power adjuster. Opposed to the dial with no real setting markers. But brought my girls fresh carbon filtered air. Which helps the lung room stay fresh. When final exhaust set to outside location.

The analog fan controller makes it easy to adjust the noise level to your preference. Normally carbon air filters for home use are very cheap and don't really work. The austin air works but it is $900 and the same thing as this. Actually, this is better than austin air as those only have 3 fan speeds. It is good for removing pet smells from a home or animal shelter. It would also work well for a grow room of course since it is activated carbon.
