I got this on Amazon and I was super stoked as it arrived a day early. As I go to open the box I instantly see a chip in the paint. I was originally going to use it anyways until I looked inside and seen another chip in the paint. The paint is also irregular inside telling me it was also made very fast. Not very impressed

I have a certain nostalgia for blue enameled camp cookware, sure, there are plenty of fancy neo-titaniuous ultra non-stick, 1/64th gram stuff out there but traditional, tough, and practical works every time. This one I found to be nearly perfect to replace my last one, which has been with me since the early eighties. The handle has notches on the tabs to keep the handle up-right making it easy to place on or remove from the cook fire. The enamel seems flawless and well coated over the steel. The steel feels good and thick enough to distribute heat well without be too heavy. The cover fits perfectly, not loose or rattling, but not too tight that would make retrieving your hot supper cumbersome. The first meal I made in it was during a recent trip to the White Mountains. Despite the 17 degree temperature, my vegetarian beef stew (it was fantastic, BTW) had cooked evenly and fully. I expect to make many more wonderful meals with this cook pot for years to come.

I like that this pot is 3 1/2 quarts and it fits perfectly in my panniers and backpack. I know a lot of people focus on compact and super light gear but this pot isn't that heavy and it's nice to have something actually big enough to cook a nice soup on those cooler days on the trail or road. I love this pot it's perfect for what I do and am glad I bought it and it is a fair price. 🌞

Ordered again for a friend as she loved mine. Got it today just in time for Christmas but the lid is missing. Was received in a big box totally loose with another small item just loose banging around in it.

Had it hanging over open flames for a day and it worked as it should and looked great while doing it! Outside mostly charred black with first use, but the food cooked within was wonderful and hot!

This pot was perfect for my portage trip! It was great to boil water and cook for 4-5 people. It was easy to clean! The ends of the handle are really sharp though, I had to use pliers to bend them in more so that it wouldn't Rio my bag when I carry it.Highly recommend this pot!!

The pot has awful quality, all in bumps inside and outside, and it was not packed at all, just somebody dropped it in the box (and even not separated from it's cover) together with another item: frying pan. I think, that enamel will fall apart on the bumps pretty soon. And price is also too high for a such low quality product. I bought the same item several years ago, and the quality was fine and the price was much lower.

We bought this to replace an earlier version of this GSI pot. This is just OK; the older version was significantly better. This new pot has several design modifications that will shorten it's life. 1. The bail (silver piece in photo) has ends bent up and out - these catch on, and scratch things, whereas the older handle ends were bent under and in and were covered by the pieces that the bail hooked into. 2. The blue pieces that the bail hooks into are sticking up and out away from the pot and are unsupported - these will break off if not treated with care - whereas on the old design these pieces were flush with the side of the pot tucked under the pot's upper lip and they touched the pot along three sides rather than one. 3. There is no longer an "assist" handle on the side to help you pour boiling water. This could lead you to drop the pot (shortening it's life), not to mention burning yourself. If you want to store food scraps on your counter, this might be OK, if you don't mind it scratching or hooking things nearby. For camping, this pot will be short lived. We kept it because it's the ideal size and are hoping someone makes a better product soon so we can buy that instead.
