The inert powder helps to easily identify its. It works with my .50 launcher. Had no issues with accuracy.

I tested these .50 cal chalk balls in a T4E non-lethal self defense CO2 powered pistol. Despite that I did not use lubricant on the built-in magazine of the gun, all 12 test rounds fed and fired properly. The performance was very impressive. On a fresh CO2 cartridge, all rounds fired straight and true, impacting within a 3-4 inch grouping on a piece of plywood at 25 feet. At 33 feet the grouping widened slightly, as the CO2 pressure diminished as well. There was a somewhat stiff, variable breeze, which seemed to have no effect on the flight of these balls. I think it is because they are fairly dense balls of compressed chalk with a goodly amount of mass. I think these balls work well as practice rounds but might even have utility as rounds to scare off critters. Every round disintegrated on impact with plywood. They are semi-hard unlike some orange reusable rounds we have for the T4E pistol which are more a semi-soft. These are solid compressed calcium carbonate unlike my pepper rounds which are hollow capsules containing a loose powder. These rounds are clearly well designed and manufactured under quality control standards with excellent feed and flight characteristics in mind. I fully recommend them. The only issue is price (currently $40 for 95 rounds), but last I checked all .50 cal non-lethal rounds of any type were very expensive. It may just be the nature of the beast. Of course reusable practice rounds can keep costs way down and these particular rounds are not reusable as they break up on impact. Overall five star rating deducting half a star due to high price, rounding up to five stars.

I tested them from an Umarex T4E compact. They performed perfectly.

Got my wife a pepper gun and to use practice rounds we used these and wow these things pack a punch, we clocked them going 545 FPS, and that's some serious power to hit someone with. The pricing is well worth this awesome ammo! We love it!

Pros:Non-LethalInertPowder FilledSafeDeterrentDurableCons:NoneWhat I received in the package:95 x GUARD DOG SECURITY Inert Non_Lethal BallsThis GUARD DOG SECURITY Inert Non_Lethal Ball product surprised me by the performance of these projectiles. Even though these are not the solid rubber projectiles … you still would not want to be hit with one. They pack a sting and a powder explosion to boot. These are just as accurate as any other ball projectile I have tested. In counting the shipment, I received 95 balls in the container I received. So spot on.I appreciate you taking the time to read this. All in all, these hit hard enough … and with the added billow of chalk to mark your target and throw them off … it is a decent deterrent. These are obviously lighter than your solid balls and the density is different but it still shoots straight. Hope this information was helpful. [4 Stars]
