This was a gift. My son was happy to receive it. It was in perfect condition. He already had a coffee mug and glasses from Guinness so this made his day. Would buy again.

Ordered 2 Caps because I had just lost the one that I had loved. Went on-line in desperation to try and find the exact cap that I had lost. Voila !!!! There it was and I ordered 2 in case I lost another one. Order placed and 2 days later I received them both and they were the exact hat that I had lost. Thanks Guinness for producing such an outstanding Cap. I am proud to wear it to show the world that I am a "Guinness" man. I love your Cap almost as much as I love a pint of Guinness. I have the original Guinness cap that looks like this, and I was hoping to replace it since it's been worn within an inch of its life. The one I received from Red Tail didn't have the Guinness logo on the reinforcing bands on the inside of the cap which all of my other Guinness caps have. The tag indicating authenticity doesn't match the real Guinness badges which feature Arthur Guinness's signature. On a real Guinness cap, the reinforced bands have the stitching going all the way from one side to the other, the one in front of this, shows that the pleats are simply folded material and it's not stitched all the way to the brim. Regardless of when the caps were made, the two caps should be almost identical but they are not. Also, the proportions of the cap are poorly designed and it doesn't fit well at all... needless to say, I'll be returning this and buying my next one from the Guinness website as I should've done.

If you dont like the new look (which was how hats used to be back in the 80's before hat makers got a clue and started making curved brims) Hats, you know, the ones that have that flat brim and billboard size front, then this is for you. nice fit, good quality.I might buy another to keep incase this one gets too dirty or I lose it.

Got this hat for Christmas and that is the only hat I have worn since. My Mother went to Ireland this year and brought back several gifts but not a hat. Guess I hinted enough I got one for Christmas. Love it! It holds it shape and is made of sturdy material. Buy one!
