I was hoping to use this as a case for my Fractal FM9. I had measured and knew this case would be too big, but I thought I'd be able to add some foam to two sides to keep the device in the case.The first problem is that there is no tie-down strap inside the case. Usually hook and loop straps from the top and bottom or sides helps you keep your device in place. Unfortunately, this case does not include any straps on the inside.The second problem is that this case is not very well padded. This may not matter for different usages, but for holding either my FM9, or a pedalboard I have that fits, I want much more padding protecting my expensive equipment.There also is no shoulder strap included, nor are there D rings for you to install your own shoulder strap. It's the handles only.This is an inexpensive bag, but I would have expected more padding, tie-down straps inside, and accommodation for a shoulder strap.

I ordered this case to carry my pedal board base, my Helicon Voicelive 3, and the cables/accessories. It has a large front pocket to keep the cords separated from the board, but the padding is absolutely insufficient to protect expensive pedal boards and other electronics. I have lunch boxes with more padding that this. The zippers are low quality and one was actually coming undone in the middle upon arrival. I was able to unzip and zip it back up, but apparently they are able to pop open with little force. The bag is absolutely huge...at least 5" too long for my helicon, so if you have a board for which no other case is long enough, this might be ok with additional foam. That is the only redeeming quality as far as I can tell. The material itself is midweight. I will not be using it for any heavy or expensive items.
