I put these inside a strat with a blank pickguard, strung with nylon strings (One of which I broke, but that's unrelated lol). I had to switch out the input jack as the one that came with it is like half the length of a pen and wouldn't fit in the strat cavity, but this was an easy solder job. I placed the piezos basically right above the instruments bridge. Amped up the instrument provides a good amount of volume. With no potentiometers involved to change the volume and tone, I will likely have an effects pedal (or a series of them, this thing is asking for delay and reverb) in the mix. Ultimately this was exactly what I needed for the job and I am happy

The 2-sided tape just did not stick. I cleaned the dust off inside, and I HAVE INSTALLED similar devices before. But 2 of the 3 almost immediately fell off. So I used stronger (Gorilla) 2-sided tape. The sound is not great...tinny. That might be due to the Gorilla tape...but I won't use glue yet. The positive is, I installed these in a very cheap guitar, and since this is the kick-around (trunk of the car) guitar, it prob good enough for now.

Maybe a concept failure, or need better quality. I will attempt repositioning them , but nah, not on a piano…my bad.

For me they work well in conjuntion with wireless transmitters from multiple instruments(guitars/violins with mutes) > amps > amps with Bluetooth transmitters > headphones/buds.

It could be more quality material. I am getting too much echo and maybe the reason is my speaker but its cable is less quality.

What a disappointment. Easy to install & sounded good but stopped working in less than 48 hours. the white lead solider joint came lose. Due to the fact its held in place with very strong adhesive I cant even remove it to return.

These are great as long as you know you are paying less than $15 for a set of pickups for your acoustic guitar. The sound on these are actually really good and there is no crazy feedback issues. I am happy with them. If you are a professional you may or may not like them but for the money give them a shot.
