Useless. The edges had notches in them so depending how you hold it it shows a high fret or no high fret. Returning and trying a better company.

Poor pics sorry. It was hard to hold and take pics at the same time. Unfortunately, buying the cheap fret rocker was a bad idea. There are zero straight edges on this fret rocker. I was perplexed when EVERY fret was showing as a high spot. That's geometrically impossible unless there's a serious backward curve in the neck. Mine has a very slight forward curve. I used the edge of my dial calipers (ground stainless steel) to check the rocker, and it's obviously just stamped out of steel sheet and not ground flat afterward. Useless as a fret rocker.

If you're picky or doing any good setup work on a fretted instrument, you might want to consider a better tool. Mine was only pretty straight on two sides (the top two sides) but the other sides were not straight (I'm guessing about .010" off). I'm a machinist and held it against my machinist square and saw light through the crack between them. The string action gauge might be useful though.

The metal was slightly pitted/jagged on one edge so I had to sand it down with a straight edge. Also, the width is not very thick. It works, but looking for a different one for my use.
