About this item

  • 1.Steam Deck OLED Joystick Upgrades: These repair replacements are designed to fit the Steam Deck OLED with the exact same dimensions as the original joysticks. Featuring hall effect technology, they provide enhanced anti-drift capabilities, smoother operation, touch-sensing functionality, and a significantly extended lifespan.
  • 2.No-Soldering Required: Our analog joystick replacement eliminates the need for soldering, because it maintains the same size and interface as the original parts, and come with installation caps to keep the Steam Deck OLED original touch functionality. Just align and tighten the screws to fix it—no special tools or soldering skills needed.
  • 3.One-Button Calibration: a. Move the joystick to the symmetrical position of the central point b. Press the tiny calibration button on the board ( we have marked it on our picture) c. Release the joystick d. Calibration is successfully completed when you see the joystick return to the center position.
  • 4.Reduce the Dead Zone: Minimize controller dead zones for enhanced precision by adjusting settings, potentially reaching a zero dead zone. This customization allows for more responsive input, significantly reducing the factory default's larger dead zones, which can lead to stick drift and imprecise movements.
  • 5.Warm Tips: It's needed to recalibrate before securing the back cover. It is normal that the joystick may not return to center each time under no dead zone mode. In case of stuck joystick issue, the stick cap that comes pre-installed becomes loose during shipping, just press the cap vertically down to fix it. If you need help, don't hesitate to contact us and we'll reply within 24 hours.

With all the talk about stick drift who DOESN'T love a good set of hall effect joysticks. These installed incredibly easy. There is plenty of youtube videos on how to do this. Take the back cover off, remove a few screws and these joysticks are installed! Easy to calibrate with steamdecks software and the dead zones are super tight. The build quality on these sticks feels very premium as well. All in all I would definitely recommend these if you have any issues with your current sticks. 5/5 stars.

These are a great upgrade for my OLED steam deck. The hall effect adds a noticeable performance to my game and I really enjoy how comfortable the joysticks are to use. However, this is not the easiest build to do if you are a first timer. I suggest watching a lot of youtube tutorials if you're unsure of how to swap these out yourself. It's not the most challenging but if you don't do some small steps you can do things like damage your screen or damage your SD card. Also make sure you have everything you need in advance if you need to install new bios. That was a big mistake for me that caused my last upgrade to be delayed. Now, I did swap my joysticks out while also upgrading my SSD card, so I am not 100% sure if you would need to reboot the bios if you are JUST upgrading to these joysticks.I love them though! Def recommend!

This was a quick install. It took around 10-15 minutes. Please remember to remove your SD card before taking off the backplate. The thumbsticks look no different from the originals but will prevent "stick drift" thanks to them being hall effect. The calibration instructions were okay, but a better and easier way is to put the deck into desktop mode after install. Launch Konsole and then use the command "thumbstick_cal" (without the quotation marks). Follow the instructions and you will be golden.I knocked one star off because the right stick has a defect in the thumb cap. See picture. The rubber is misaligned and the sharp edge of the plastic sticks out. Not a big deal, but maybe a little more quality control before shipping.

Install took me about 15 minutes. While there is no physical feeling difference from my stock thumb sticks, these offer the benefit of not having to worry about "stick drift". I'm keeping the originals not used so that if I ever decide to sell my OLED Steam Deck, I can provide the originals along with the upgraded sticks. They feel comfortable. When buying, be sure to buy the version for your Steam Deck. LCD vs OLED. It matters.

I bought the original kit for the LCD when they were first released. Those were way less friendly than these. They had no caps or soldering. These? Everything is included and they just pop right in and you're good to go. So I was excited to grab these.I think they're easy to install, but I’ve lost all ability to judge at this point. The number of times I've opened my LCD and OLED Decks are too numerous to count. It's second hand to me. But still, it should be fairly easy for most so long as you follow instructions.People will say hall effect sticks have square gates. And they do. Still, on the whole, I still prefer them to the stock sticks. Being able to get a really tight calibration zone with zero drift is greater than any downsides to me.Considering these are cheaper than regular OLED replacement sticks, I think they're great value. To me, hall effect sticks are better. And in this case, they're also cheaper. That’s a win in my book.

This easy to install upgraded replacement Joystick Module set, by Gulikit, are working great for my OLED Steam Deck. Being that they are the exact same size as the original set, removing the old ones, and replacing them with these, is a simple fix. Because they’re the same size, no need for soldering skills, is required. The process is, open the steam deck, remove the originals, and drop these into place. Calibration is straight forward, and the instructions provide enough information to make it easy to accomplish. I really like that, there’s no noise emitted during use, and they give a nice, smooth, and responsive feeling. I haven’t noticed any drifting, a big plus, because that can really interfere with precision.I really like this product. The ease of replacing the original set with these, combined with the reasonable price of this set, makes for a good purchase. Especially if the original set is causing you some difficulties, and you want to improve your gaming . skills. I highly recommend.

Feels and looks factory installed, no drift, easy install. Weird specifics I care about, the L3/R3 click is a little softer and a tad more travel, releasing the joystick from maximum travel like a flick where it snaps back to center and does not overextend the opposite direction, no springy or creaking noise in joystick movement. Resolved my main complaints with the stock joysticks on the Steam Deck OLED
