Bought this for the cabin top of a beautiful boat which sits in the water at the shoreline for the summer months. The mess from sea birds and gulls is awful, as they sit on, fish from, drop clam shells & deposit guano on any and all surfaces … requiring constant cleaning. It’s been on the boat now for one month and works great! No more birds or their messes!!!

For a bit the cat decoy worked but something got used to it and attacked it and took off with its head lol!So all I have left now is the body lol!

Heard that this was the only thing that worked to keep the birds off from the boat covers. Bought it for my son-in-law. It really DID work. The one I bought only lasted for one summer. I bought more because we don’t want to go back to washing the covers every time we want to use the boat!

My family has a long boardwalk and pier that was heavily dotted with sea bird droppings and usually had many gulls lined up on the handrails every hour of the day and night. Since putting out two of these scarecats the birds are gone and the pier stays clean. And the boats stay clean. Cats get moved from place to place everytime someone walks down the walk so the birds don't get used to them. And the wind makes the heads and tails move.You can watch a bird come soaring in to settle then make a quick u turn. Very effective!

This little guy seemed like a perfect solution to our problem! We have this area on our pool between the hot tub and the main pool where the birds like to stroll and poop as they take a sip of water. I thought this cat would stop them from doing that. You can see in the picture that there are some droppings in front of the cat. We've definitely seen a decrease in the droppings, but I think we have fearless birds down here in Florida! A bird sauntered up to the cat at about a 3 ft radius this morning. I think we will supplement this guy with a fake owl or something.

I tried all types of reflective items to keep birds off our patio and out of our dogs water dish. Its disgusting when you go out to relax on the patio and your chair and cushion has bird p**p splotches on them. And if we left for 2 minutes they'd manage to p**p in the dogs water. Got one of these little faux cats, sat it on the front edge of patio in front of dogs water and its like a miracle. Zero birds. But more importantly zero bird p**p. There are even a ton fewer birds coming to sit on our fence anymore. I'm getting faux cat #2 to sit guard out by the pool. Its a little weird looking but way better than constantly cleaning up bird p**p.
