Vault ia fine. I own 4 of em and all are great. This seller’s shipping is bad though. I only received 1, notified them and was told another was shipped immediately, tracking number will follow later that day. 4 days later, no tracking number. I reached out again, they sent a fake tracking number. Still waiting on refund.

When I received the vault the spring that pops out the drawer was detached and loose. It is very difficult to put the 9 volt battery securely in the unit. After attaching the wires. The drawer would not open after my code but I could hear a click. I used a brand new battery to replace it and it opened again. Be sure to check the battery periodically since in an emergency you don't want to be fumbling for the keys. This is not a safe that will keep everyone out but more a quick access. Safe to keep casual eyes off and convenience of quick access.

I saw this safe on a movie and had to have it. It is pretty cool and awkward in size because it slants. I think the flat one would have been better but the cost is too high. The safe is loud when opening but just hold other hand in front it helps. Also the battery - you need a 9volt. When trying to locate just trace the wire and you will find the connector for battery. It’s not in the top of box. I made the mistake of looking up top and that cheap covering will tear. Other than these things I would of have rated 5. It’s not bad. Maybe when the other one that’s much smaller comes out cheaper I will invest. ENJOY

Good quality..small enough to secure in wall or under your bed. Only one down side was..once the lid opens it clicks loudly..like your entruder will here your lock box open. Can only hold one gun.

Works Great, easy to program your own code, Only thing I did not like was the Foam inside, it was not attached and just sitting inside the Safe. Other than that I like it.

Can't complain about the construction. I own two other gun safes from this manufacturer, and they are sturdy. Just be forewarned that this unit opens quickly, surely, but also loudly. It is nowhere close to stealthy and will wake up the house just by opening. Also, there is a fee charged if you return it.

This safe is really nice. It is quite large, but it appears to be super durable. The finger buttons are nicely lit and easy to access in the dark. The gun storage is adequate for a full size pistol and a magazine. My only gripe is that it opens extremely violently. It is very loud. However I found that if I catch it with my hand as it opens it is less noisy. Still, I'd recommend this safe for someone looking for a on the top night stand pistol safe.
