Gustavo the ghostly puppet brings reading the series by the same name to life. Soft, plush, printed well and just like his illustrated namesake. Good quality for the price. So excited to make all the books come to life for my little buddy. Gustavo will surely give and get many story-time hugs. This buy is worth it because after reading, Gustavo can be a sleep-buddy for baby/child (providing they are old enough).

This plushie, and I say plushie not puppet, is cute. It looks just like Gustavo from the book. However, it doesn’t really work as a puppet. It’s sort of shaped like a glorified oven mitt. It’s fluffy and thick on one side with a double layered cloth on the other, with room for a hand inbetween the pillow and cloth. However, there’s no arms to move, so you essentially you can wave it around but not really use it as a proper puppet. If you have a small head you might be able to use it as a hat. It is nice that it can be turned inside-out for easy cleaning.

This guy is cute but I have my doubts as to if he's a real ghost as I didn't really feel haunted. He is soft and can be comforting as long as you can accept the whole dead human spirit thing. All in all well worth the purchase. Though as I stated earlier your mileage may vary on the existential terror of a paranormal visitation, maybe it's because his size is small so I'm only being a little haunted which might be difficult to detect.... Possibly.

My daughter loves her Gustavo hand puppet. It’s high quality and looks thick enough to be a real stuffed animal shape as well as a puppet. Nice embroidery and detail. Great toy.
