My gutters needed some serious help. Got this because I cannot reach them and moving a ladder along the way is a pain. These reaches nice and far, but you can't really get that great of leverage to really clean the clumpy leaves out without putting too much pressure on the gutter itself. Maybe would be more effective on occasional spot cleaning of dry leaves, but for a built up mess I still had to get up there and do it by hand.

Decent tool if you have a leaf guard or only a few leaves, and helps a bit with regular gutters (but you'll still probably be up on a ladder). This is basically a toilet brush on a long stick. Decent for scratching and scrubbing, but for picking up leaves and debris not so much. It doesn't have the strength to grab big piles of wet leaves and move them from the ground, but if you were just scraping off the top of a front sloping gutter guard, or if you only have small amounts then maybe this might be all you need (push to an end and scratch the leaves up the wall of the gutter). Would be at it all day scratching with the piles my house collects. For me it will still help though, with getting a spot near the edge of a roof with a bad slope and a game over dropoff, and another spot too far to reach on a porch of mine, but only to gradually drag the leaves to where I can safely shovel them out, so is another helpful tool in the arsenal, but has its limitations.

This tool was a good price but more importantly, will save me from having to climb a ladder to clear the leaves and pine needs off my gutter screens.

After falling and shattering my leg - I refuse to climb a ladder to clean gutters! This lets me clean them from ground! (-: Works great - it does get a little wobbly the longer you make it- but NO LADDER involved! I save $$ every time I use it and don't have to pay a "handyman".

Worked great for DIY cleaning out your gutters! This thing saved me a ton of money by not having to hire roofers or a service. It comes with a long pole that screws together. Very easy to set up and use.

The brushes can’t be screwed onto the poles that came with them, and the neck of the brushes won’t fit on any of my telescoping poles. I am not happy about this purchase.
