Downspout straps attach directly to the downspout without bending. The thickness is just right, and we've tested it several times to maintain its optimal performance in stiffness and toughness. It effectively enhances the downpipe's firmness, protects it in lousy weather, and saves you from costly maintenance.
How to use expansion screws
Step 1
Choose a suitable drill bit and use a hand drill to make a hole in the wall (the depth of the hole is greater than the length of the expansion tube so that the line will not be completely plugged into the wall). Tip: Use a small stick to clean the sand inside the hole so that the sand will not block the inconvenience of installation.
Step 2
Use a hammer to smash the expansion tube entirely into the hole. Put the screw through the installation hole of the object to be fixed.
Step 3
Screw into the expansion tube with a screwdriver and tighten.
Scope of application
Secure residential 2x3 downspouts (2x3 headers) to sturdy .027 gauge aluminum exterior walls. It extends the downspout's life, effectively strengthens it, protects it in inclement weather, and saves you from costly maintenance.

Good fit on the downspout. Strap is profiled to match the downspout.I ended up going with some better anchors when I installed mine. The ones that came with the set didn't hold.

The bracket themselves are great however don’t use the screws it came with as all of the heads of the screws broke off when trying to screw them in. Poor quality on the screw.Also they should provide white headed screws with this (which I ended up using).

The straps are fine and worked well. I used the provided screws but all stripped and one broke. You might want to toss them out and use better ones.

Brackets fit well as long as you are mounting it touching the wall. Anchors are huge and I threw them out. I used 7/8" long anchors and #6 screws going into the mortar between the bricks. The screws will pull the bracket tight to the wall taking care of any slight gap.
