Just put on today and it keeps coming off and is already frayed during first use. Seems to be a cheap material

It's a great replacement for the OEM John Deere belt. It does not overwinter well, and on starting my mower this spring the belt broke after about a year of good use. However, it is literally 1/6th the price of the OEM belt so I can't complaint. Fits my D155 well, and runs well when on.

I hsve JD 160... this belt is ⅛ of an inch smaller and almost ¼ in thinner than the OEM belt.Bought this same one 2 years ago lasted 1 hour...replaced with an OEM ... lasted two years.Though maybe 1st on was maybe a defect...bought 2 more this year one lasted less than ½ hour before fraying still have the other one... bought an OEM I WOULDNOT RECOMMEND this belt to used on what they claim JD 100 series w a 48 inch deckYou get what you pay for!

We have a John Deere S140. The original belts cost $60.98 so almost $66 after tax. For some reason my belt shredded then broke. I went to the store and dropped almost $66 on a new belt. Didn't even last half a cut and it shredded and broke. I took it apart again, cleaned everything out again, and still couldn't figure out why it did that. I was not spending that much on another belt so I took my chances with this one. I am so glad I did. I put this one on and cut the entire 1 1/2 acres without any issues at all.
