If you're looking for a "fishbowl" face mask to play some recreational hockey, then this isn't a bad option. It feels like it's well made, includes mouting hardware.However, if you're going to play more aggressive or if you're in a league that requires the mask to have certifications on it, then this isn't the one for you. The face mask doesn't have any safety certifications (no HECC, CSA, or ANSI impact rating) on it or the box. So even though it is made out of polycarbonate, I have a hard time recommending it for anything other than light recreational use without having at minimum some sort of impact certification...so as such I can only give it 3 stars. After all, hockey is an impact sport so it's safety equipment should have impact certifications.And even though it shows an orange colored chin cup in the picture, the one I received was black. Otherwise it's as pictured.
