This is a lovely book for babies and children. It’s made to a high standard and is really sturdy and durable.It’s got clear plastic pockets for you to add pictures of family and loved ones. This is great for us as we don’t have any immediate family close by so we can show pictures of them to our children using this books and it helps them remember them and talk about them.This book would make a lovely gift and is a great price for $24.99 at the time of this review.

This was a very fun picture album to put together for our baby. The photos stay protected, and the pages are beautifully crafted with fun backgrounds. We did have to trim our 4x6 photos a little to get them entirely covered by the plastic pockets, but overall, it's a very low-fuss, baby-friendly album.

This is a great book! I have a lot of cloth books, but this one is the best because it can be customized to tell any story you want. It can have pictures of trucks one day, and pictures of nature another. I simply print whatever I want on regular paper and cut the images out to size. I think it might be worth it to pick up a few in order to tell multiple stories at once, like a story on family members, and a story on fruits. My toddler loves flipping through the pages and pointing stuff out. Best of all, it is exactly whatever is actually relevant to him. The plastic is strong, the cloth is washable, and the whole thing is a great way to teach anything to little ones.

This photo album is such a great idea for parents with babies or toddlers because it is made of soft material that also keeps photos protected from the hazards of little hands and mouths. I would suggest that copies be used of favorite photos as they will likely sustain some wear and tear over time from being handled. This photo album holds 8 4x6 photos in addition to a smaller photo for the front cover so there is plenty of room to add a variety of personal photo favorites. This photo album is very well-made with plenty of attention to detail. The stitches are smooth and even and even change colors depending on the page background. I think it is a great idea for babies and toddlers to be able to see pictures of loved ones or other favorite things, especially if they are in daycare. My eldest kiddo would like one to keep by her bedside too! They are great keepsake for kiddos to have they own physical photos close!

What a wonderful idea to create a baby/toddler photo album book that is designed so the baby or toddler can handle and interact with it themselves when they want to and not have to worry about the photos and the album being destroyed by young hands. That being said, I can envision the photos used getting bent without much difficulty, but that is actually to be seen, as I am going to use this as a gift. This album comes packaged in what I would call a half box, meaning the back of the box is solid and the front of the box is entirely open (like some dolls come packaged). The interior of the photo album holds 8 4x6 photos. The front cover has a slot to add an additional smaller 1 1/2 x 2 inch photo, making 9 photos total. The album itself is well constructed. Each photo gets placed behind a protective thin plastic covering that has been sewn to the fabric on three sides. The remaining open edge of plastic has been covered with a coordinating color bias tape to help prevent the photo from falling out of the slot once it is inserted. The stitching used to sew the album together is small, strong and evenly stitched. The company color coordinated the thread used to match each individual page. The album itself can be machine washed as needed. Because the front and back covers of the album are sturdy, the covers must have be filled with some sort of plastic material to stiffen them. It is easy for an adult to switch out one photo for another, allowing this album to tell a different story just by changing the photos used. Because the number of photos it holds is limited to 8, it is an overwhelming project to change things around. Initially, I was not sure I loved each page having an angel on it, as it reminded me more of a memorial book after a death, than a child's photo album. However, this pattern grew on me. It does coordinate with some of their dolls and other products this company produces or licenses. It is a wonderful product for ages 9 months through their toddler years. It not only reminds the toddler of past things they did, but can help grow their language skills as they learn to tell the stories they remember (or create) when seeing the photos as well.

The HABA Guardian Angel Baby Photo Album is made very well, consistent with the quality you would expect from the brand. Each page has a plastic pocket that will hold a 4 X 6 photo and a smaller pocket is on the front cover. The pages are securely sewn together and there is a strong Velcro closure to keep the photos from falling out. Each page has delightful thematic illustrations. The material is soft enough to snuggle with and is machine washable. Filled with family photos this would be perfect for a child to have at daycare. The reason that I removed one star is that the angel theme seems a bit morbid. I know it’s meant to designate a guardian angel, but it made me think it might be for photos of a baby who passed away. Perhaps a different theme might be more appropriate.

It's a cute soft picture book for baby, I was just expecting the photographs to have a more secure way of being held in place. Any babies prying, grasping, curious hands will find the pics no problem... (& we all know what happens next!)
