6-Ply Bias Rating
HALBERD Trailer Tire is durable with a six-ply construction. They can work on boats, utilities, and stock trailers. I needed 4 new trailer tires--old ones were weather checking and I didn't want to risk a blowout. Looked a long time for ST185/80D13. Halberd are a name brand, price was good, so I bought the set.Haven't had a chance to run the trailer with the new tires on yet. But they meet the specs of the tires that were on it so I'm not expecting any problems.Only issue I had was when I mounted the tires. Did this job myself as I've done it before--using a manual tire machine. Mounting the tires on the wheel went fine, trying to inflate them required one of those tire bead blasters. No problems after that. Now I'm just waiting for Spring so I can get the trailer out of the shop and on the road.
