Will not germinate and bag is not as big as you will expect. I would have been happy if it was twice as much for this price. The company could make it right by sending one or two more bags of that size.

I eliminated the grass and weeds with glyphosate before spreading this stuff in early spring. I over seeded because I was not discing the seed in. Also hit it with a couple hundred pounds of fertilizer after spreading.

I literally used a quarter of a cup worth of seeds on an empty patch of dirt bro see what the results would be and how strong they grow in this NY soil.Absolutely fantastic, no till, no fertilizer, just shook the seeds over the dirt at night and a week later this is what I got.

Quick germination. Keep in mind from photo this is just one week after broadcasting and a photo of alfalfa (my plot is a mix of various greens). If you’re trying alfalfa (which is hard to grow) you need a PH of 7… no matter where you live just spread lime every spring and fall. My method is to disc, wait a week, disc again then spray anything green with roundup, then broadcast seed without packing the soil. I don’t pack the soil because the seed is so small the rain will work it in the loose soil, it only needs 1/4” depth. Once it emerges well you can fertilize with something that won’t burn it up…but don’t fertilize in the spring as it will encourage weed growth. If you do the above you will have a nice feed patch.Good luck!

Food plot is coming up well!!! Very quick germination. Didn’t get as much area as advertised though.
