These cartons can be split to hold 6 eggs or kept whole for a full dozen. We’ve created this design with the backyard chicken enthusiast (crazy chicken lady, if you prefer) and small scale farmer in mind. This design does not include the FDA required markings, but most states do not require them if they are not being sold in a retail location. Our mission at Henlay is to create egg cartons that you will be proud to cradle your hard-earned, fresh eggs. The customized vintage farmhouse design is sure to draw attention whether you are sharing with friends and family, or selling at the local farmer’s market. The print includes the phrases “Farm Fresh, Hand Gathered, Locally Laid, and Fresh From Happy Hens.” Henlay cartons are sturdy and strong, made in the USA using 100% recycled materials. These pulp fiber cartons and reusable and biodegradable. They work great for planting seedlings or home crafting projects.

To me Henlay stands apart from the rest due to its commitment to faith and made in USA, which caused me to switch and try this brand. Cartons are very cute, and I have the additional requests for your consideration:- it would be great if the cartons advertise that they are MADE IN USA, maybe even with the logo shown in the product details photos- it would be nice if these cartons would also have the “safe handling” markings your other cartons have (although I gather these are more for casual gift-giving)

I feel like I have to hold it with both hands to avoid from it separating in the middle. The 1/2 dozen option is nice, but we haven’t needed it yet. Not likely to purchase again; too flimsy.

I like that they can be split into half dozen, we are planning on selling them. Nice design ! Also, love that they are earth friendly, biodegradable.

I really wanted to like these and gave them a chance but they have a major flaw. It's nice that they can be split in two halves but they rip way too easy. You will be carrying these things around like a little baby to prevent them from splitting. If you have eggs in 1 half but pick the carton up by the empty side, you will have a mess to clean up. The design is very nice and they are sturdy when split into half dozen cartons. They need to make the connection stronger in their next version of this product.

Perfect design when you have customers who buy both half and full dozens. We love them also because we can give 6 packs of our Easter Eggers as gifts. Sturdy and a great value.

Perfect egg cartons for gifting our free range eggs! They are plenty sturdy, they do easily split for half dozen if you wished to. Great job on these ! I will definitely repurchase when I run out.

These cartons feel sturdy and arent like any other design you can find in the Amazon! I love the fact that if you want to split the carton you can easily tear the center and have two super cute half dozen cartons. I will be ordering regularly from now on! ❤️
