Replaced my sewer pump that costs about 1200 dollars, now I can use the controller or use the attached float. I am pumping uphill about 60 yards with a 12 foot vertical. 2 months in with a lot of company over the holidays, no issues yet

UPDATE: It's been over 4 years now and the pump hasn't missed a beat. Still a great value.I installed this as a sewage pump two years ago now and it's been running without issue. My application involves about 90' of run and 10' of lift, pumping from an old septic tank behind my house around to the sewer lateral up a hill in the front. I was skeptical when I bought this due to the low price (compared to Zoeller), but now I would definitely consider using Hallmark again.

Pump worked fine for two months pumping rain water from a catch basin. Failed today, started tripping 20 amp breaker, not the ground fault receptacle. I checked to make sure the impeller was not stuck. Not returnable to Amazon, so I will have to try for a warranty repair.

I have a turtle/goldfish pond that I built in my backyard by digging a hole and using a thick liner. It gives me lots of pleasure watching and feeding the critters. 6 large goldfish and 7 red-eared sliders. Sludge from turtle waste and leaves and other debris has been building up for years, decreasing the depth and probably leading to less than perfect water quality. I can remove leaves, sticks etc. with a net, but the sludge just passes right through a fine net. This pump did a great job pumping out the sludge and mud. You do have to run hose water into the pond while pumping because the pump pulls out a LOT of water. Small leaves and sticks don't clog it. They are chopped up and pumped out. I just had to make sure that the float switch was horizontal or upside down to keep it pumping when there was very little water and sludge in the pond.

I used this to replace an older Zoeller pump in May (2018) that had failed. So far I like it, it's quieter than the Zoeller and was much more affordable. We're pumping vertically about 15-20ft and so far it has no problems.

I have not yet received the unit yet. Its due at my Haus any day now. So far, from my researching, it really seems the best value sewage pump at not some outrageous price. The cast iron impeller is better than the abs plastic ones which helped me decide on this one. I also really like the 20 foot long power cord. Most other sewage pumps only have a 10 foot power cord. Also Hallmark Industries has nice, helpful customer service. After I use the pump I will tell you more. The pump also looks intelligent and attractive!! I now installed this and it works great! I'm very satisfied with it and highly recommend it. Thanks for a great pump at an affordable price!

Thought it had a sticky float switch for a while until I figured out the safety float switch for my alarm was too low. Pump is quiet and powerful. Trusting this will last for years to come...!!!Even the impellor is cast iron and will pass heavy solids with no problem.Due to the unpleasant nature of the job,....I hope it's a Lifer ?UPDATE: After almost 6 years, this pump is still working.
