Soft shirt, and sized/cut exactly as shown in the pics. My daughter wears this to her jazz class and loves it. Washed and dried a couple of times and is holding up really well!

Got this for my 12 year old and she loves it, she fits right in with all of her friends and can even wear it to her hip hop classes. no loose threads and it didn't even shrink when we washed it! fit was good to size and she says it is comfortable to wear.

It is WAY more cropped than what the photo shows you. I would order a size up if you want the shirt to lay under your/or childs belly button.

I always order a size up when ordering clothes for my kids from Amazon, but this was way too big for my daughter (size 9-10). So big that I actually tried it on and it fit me (it was a belly shirt on me lol, but it fit my bust)! Whoa! Definitely check out the size chart and order based of measurements. It is a very boxy shirt also. I had hoped she could wear this with high waisted skirts/shorts this summer. I'll put this shirt away until she grows a little more. The fabric is thicker, not a lightweight material.
