Tried this hat while in sauna and left with my hair still dry while my body is wet with sweat.Don't expect it to 'cool' your head, but it will isolate your scalp from the heat, and that's exactly why I needed it since every time I go in the sauna and take a shower after, my hair ends up looking like a tired mess. That didn't happen when I used this hat. You can see in the picture that the sweat is limited to my forehead line.It takes a while for it to dry, so I recommend you don't put it in the bag right away and let it airdry first.Expect to catch the attention of other folks in the sauna, and maybe start a conversation or two about what's that on your head.

The hat is made of 100% wool and is designed to help regulate temperature and protect hair from heat damage during sauna use.Keeps head cool, allowing to stay in the sauna longer and enhance its benefits.The hat has a large loop on top for easy hanging after use.The hat may be a bit large for smaller head sizes, but it fits my head perfectly.No strong smell in my case. It is expected to have some smell. Natural wool does smell.Overall, it seems that the HALSA Sauna Hat is a well-made and functional accessory for sauna users, with many customers reporting benefits such as cooler head temperatures, hair protection and longer sauna sessions.

Sauna hats are renowned for benefits to keeping heads cooler during longer sessions, and anyone who regularly uses a sauna should consider purchasing one.These hats can look silly to those living in a culture unfamiliar to them. Who cares? This sauna hat is simply fun.The felt is decently thick, and the stitching is solid, providing a cohesive structure to the hat (see photos), providing an adequate amount of insulation.Value is there, and price is competitive - 5 stars.

This sauna hat is quite large, though to be fair, I do have a small head. But I like how big it is because I can wear my hair twisted up in a clip (who wants long hair on their neck when they're in the sauna?) and that still fits comfortably.This hat is made of 100% wool so it needs to be handwashed and left to air dry. I do not find it itchy but I also wear wool sock daily. I think the pattern of this hat is charming and the craftsmanship is great. I also like the large loop on top of the hat so that it can be hung from a hook right outside the sauna.Until this hat popped up in my feed, I didn't know that such a thing existed. But it makes sense that if you can keep your head cooler, you can stay in the sauna longer.I recommend this hat.

This hat is made of dense wool yet somehow, the hat feels quite light - almost like thick felt. I’ve had this recommended to me before, but sad to say, despite my Scandinavian heritage, I'd never had the chance to try a sauna hat. Now that I've tried it once, and experienced for myself how it really truly does what's promised, I'm convinced!My hair stayed wet, my head stayed not so hot, and all in all, I felt more revived. I quite like the way this enhances my post-workout sauna!

I know they really do use these in lots of other countries. I have noticed in an infrared sauna, my hair get really hot, but if I wear a wool hat, my head stays cooler. Allegedly, you sweat out of your body more getting a better detox. No idea if it is true, but it honestly helps. We tried it, after we stopped laughing our rears off, we agree they help! I'm going to pass on the beatings with eucalyptus and twigs the russians do after a sauna with this type of hat.
