Wow. I thought I would never be able to walk my dog without having to full sprint. This harness/leash combo has changed our walking game. I have a 105lb Great Pyrenees who thinks she’s a sled dog and has to full sprint at the beginning of every walk because of how excited she is. I typically have my husband walk her on walks because she’s too strong for me. We tried the harness on today and she couldn’t pull at 👏🏼 all 👏🏼 I’m so glad we found this and will make walks much more manageable.

The harness works great! It's soft and helps redirect the dog without hurting his neck. However, it will slightly compress his body as a small reprimand, safer than a choking collar. Overall, it's helpful and good for the dog. Only con is that it takes a little more effort to put on my dog but it only takes 5 seconds.

We have tried numerous leashes, harnesses and other training items to try to get our two dogs to quit pulling so much while walking them. We have a 50 pound blue heeler/border collie mix and a 60 pound pit mix and they both are absolutely horrible, they even drag my husband around let alone me with my bad back, hip, etc. I started by buying one because like I said we've tried so many other things unsuccessfully, but after trying Halti out on both dogs I immediately ordering a second one so that they both had their own. We just took them both with us to a Court Days event , which if you've never heard of or been to one it is like a huge flea market, yard sale, gun/animal sale type of thing that covers an entire little town which is miles of walking through fields and thousands of people and booths. They both did so good with these on that even my husband was floored. Without Halti we never would have been able to look at anything or even control them. It was a major change from their normal behavior and a major God send considering we didn't have a choice but to take them with us when we hadn't planned to because our dog sitter had hurt her wrist and couldn't watch them. We will never buy another type of harness for any dog, we are a Halti customer for life!

I have a rescue dog that didn't have any leash manners. I hate using any kind of choke, prong or nose halti as they seem to be a form of physical punishment. This harness is fantastic. The ability to hook the double lead into the back and the front of the harness gives you a lot of control when you need it. And once your dog starts to learn leash manners you and use just the back part of the harness.The harness itself is extremely well made and sturdy. High quality and easy to use.

After nine months I have to order another harness. The webbing has frayed too much near the rear lead attachment point. The slide gets caught up on the weakened and damaged area making it hard to manipulate. This newer version is made of a sewn together ribbon material that is much inferior to the old versions of this harness. Older versions were made of a heavy cord that lasted the life of a Labrador Retriever. I wish they would make them like they used to, but this is a good harness for pulling control as it tightens around the dog's chest in a very humane way to discourage your dog from pulling.

The Halti No Pull Harness and Training Lead is absolutely useless! It does not work on my 65 pound dog at all. In fact, it’s far worse than just using a regular collar and leash, what a waste of money! While using the Halti Harness and Lead my dog pulled so hard that he knocked me down which sent me to the hospital with a fracture to my tailbone!!! I do NOT recommend to anyone who’s looking for something to stop their dog from pulling!!

Let me first say HALTI harnesses & the matching leash that you hook to the harness at both ends have changed our walks. For the better. Really helps teach dogs not to pull. I have now had 3 of these no-pull Halti harnesses. We have 3 x 90+ lb dogs.Our puppy was borderline unwalkable beforehand. Thanks Halti!Seems to be very high quality but two issues I think the company needs to address, both related to stitching:1) The front leash attachment point has now ripped off 2 of my 3 Halti's --- we have a 90 pound bloodhound puppy, but this stitching should be stronger. She ran after a bird and it ripped right off, on a 4 week old Halti harness I'd maybe used 5 times (ie it wasn't old, decayed or fatigued from years of use). See pic. BTW when this rips off it snaps back and almost nailed me in the head.2) The little leg pads slide UP and back towards the rear and away from the dog's underarms on every harness, with all 3 of our dogs, no matter how well or poorly fitted/adjusted the harness is. On our yellow lab, after an all day hike in the woods running, he was abraded/bloody/scabbed under his armpits from where the leg pads had moved up around his neck and the strap was touching him. I read about this online, if they'd just put some stitching through the leg pads to keep them properly positioned on the strap and up against the front of the harness, this would not be an issue. Now I just stop every 10 mins and slide them down but it's annoying.Hope that helps. Great harness. Not perfect. And these issues could be addressed and then I'd say 6 stars out of 5!
