These are reasonably nice artificial plants. I put them in my leopard gecko enclosure. I did cut them up so that I got several smaller branches instead of two larger ones. The included suction cups work well enough to hang the branches. Since I cut them up, I used some of my own to get everything hung up and arranged as desired. These look good in my enclosure and provide some nice coverage that my gecko likes to disappear into.

Visiting a local aquarium in my area, I spotted a really captivating display tank in which, somehow, the creators were able to hang artificial aquarium plants from the canopy or lid of the tank, and have them dangling down into the water from above, as if they were branches or vines hanging off a tree branch and dipping down into the water. It gave the tank an extremely aesthetic appearance, creating a strangely natural look and giving the fish places to hide and swim through. That's when the idea spawned for me create something similar for my home tanks.I had tried plenty of designs and prototypes before, but the issue was that the stems would always float to the water's surface and not "hang down" through the water column. I had to somehow put enough weight on the ends of the stems so that they would "hang".✅ clipping each individual stem off of the main, thick stem, I ended up with 10 individual, smaller, thin, long, stems.✅ bunching them all together, i attained an extra large suction cup from an old product that i no longer needed that had holes punched through the back bases and pushed the gathered bunch of stems through the hole in the base of the big suction cup. to hold the stems in place, i filled the extra space as well as coated every individual stem in clear drying super glue. epoxy would likely work better and be more stable and solid, but super glue also does the trick.✅ i also used 4 ounce fishing weights. i made sure to use stainless steel fishing weights, as opposed to lead, since lead is notorious for leeching chemicals and destroying water quality. i carefully chose these weights, and tied them with clear fishing line, to the ends of every individual stem. this would assist in making the dangling stems, hang down past the water surface and correctly hang and flow/move with the water column.✅ finally attaching the huge suction cups to the glass canopy of my aquarium, they were large enough and strong enough to. hold the stems securely, and allow the opposite ends that had the attached weights, hang down from the glass canopy and suction cup and into the water below. the stems are very securely attached together, as i had no pieces break off and go floating, all the leaves and smaller stems stayed in place and have been very well secured.◼ OVERALL RATING: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ FIVE STARS ————————————————♡》》》 IN SUMMARY: i believe i finally did it! i was finally able to duplicate the decorations i had seen at the local aquarium, in my very own, personal home tank! i was very excited and pleased with myself for how they turned out and how well both of them were made. however, because of the height of my tank, some of the longer stems do make contact with the bottom of my tank, so these hanging stems would look even better in a taller tank where there is more space and distance between the ground/bottom, and the level of the hanging stems. the aesthetic and concept is definitely there, and i will likely duplicate this creation for one of my taller tanks. these artificial stems are so well made they allowed me to clip, bend, fold, and manipulate the separate stems so accurately and easily. all the leaves and attachments are very secure upon the stems, and the coloration is beautiful and natural in appearance. so, even though i did not use these plants for their intended purpose, they did serve for my purpose very successfully and have been holding up, submerged under water for more than a couple of weeks at this point, so that just speaks to the quality of them. i love them! ♡(NOTE: and because it's very obvious, yes my tank appears very brown/yellow in my picture due to the addition of new wood into the tank which have been releasing tannins into the water column, effecting the color of the water. it's not harmful to the fish, it's just blatantly ugly and unaesthetic. i will be doing a water change soon, though. so, no worries.)
