I used this brackets to mount two hooks on the ceiling for my hammock and it worked great. The package came with two hooks, two carabiners, and the mounting screws and anchors. I did not use the screws and anchors that came with the package. I used my own strong hardware instead to mount these hooks. I am happy with this product and I highly recommend it.

These are really great! They are thick and sturdy and they really give me a lot of confidence that they will hold up under any weight we could give them. I used one for a swing, and the other for hanging a birdcage. They appear to be very well made. The finishing and metalwork looks to be of high quality without any manufacturing defects or quality concerns. Both the clips and the mounting brackets are really impressive. I would absolutely purchase these again and I would definitely recommend them to others.

The pad eyes here are pretty good. They're definitely heavy duty and although I didn't intend to use this for a hammock I did need to hang a relatively heavy air handling unit in the basement from the rafters. The problem with this is that the hole positions are in a diamond pattern and not a square, so the two holes are wider than the standard width of a of a rafter. You could always rotate it but then the pad eye isn't parallel to the beam or the other pad eye if you're using two or more of these. The hook looks like its heavy duty but they claim that they will support 1700 pounds. Or maybe they just meant the pad eye would. In any case, I have a hard time trusting that that hook would support 850 pounds each. Call me paranoid but I think that the limit is something much less. I have more confidence in the pad eye, and think that it probably could support that weight if properly mounted in something like a beam.

I haven't _actually_ gotten this hung up and used yet, because I keep convincing myself that it wouldn't be good for my house to do so. Using the "Ultimate Hang" hammock hanging calculator (search for it!) will tell ya that you can put a LOT more force into your anchor points than the actual load in the hammock. My ceilings are a bit too tall to hang it just right, anyway. The equipment is plenty up to the task, however. My only concern, and it's a small one, is that since this is coated hardware, you will be grinding the paint / powder coating off over time on the tiny contact points. No way around that, really, other than to use materials that don't need painting.

These are designed for a hammock but I'd use them to suspend other heavy items too. They come well packaged. The two carabiners have locking cutouts so I think they're plenty strong for the application. The two steel loops and the plate are welded into once solid piece and it feels hefty and robust. the holes are well drilled and there are no blemishes or defects in the black paint. The paint feels thick but I don't know for sure. They come with some hardware but I'm always wary of hardware included with some products so I always buy screws from Ace or HD to make sure they're strong enough. I've had a few bad experiences. I can't say if these screws are good or bad but I just take a conservative approach to screws.I think this is a good product and I'd get it again. I think you'll be happy with it.
