I bought this unit to use with my Wasabi knife sharpener. Wasabi wanted $35 for a cheaper model than this one. Overall it was easy to use and has pretty good accuracy, certainly enough for sharpening a knife. The one adaptation I needed to make was to glue a magnetic strip to the sharpening stone holder so the level would stick to it. The Wasabi is made out of stainless steel. Once I made that adaptation this unit worked perfectly to get the sharpener to a perfect 20 deg angle and make sure it stays there.The 4 start on accuracy is due to being a little inconsistent when taking on and off the sharpener. It would give me a different reading +/- 0.5 deg if I took it off and put it back on. Seemed like it should be more consistent.

While the LCD seems to show an accurate reading compared to my more precise angle measurement tool, the bubble level is off by about 1 degree. You might think it's not a big deal, but 1 degree over 40 inches yields a 2/3 inch error, so it kind of matters.You can rely only on the LCD, but it's distracting to see the bubble level being off.

I work in a machine shop and this level seems to be accurate enough for parts I work on and the magnetic holds it in place very well. It takes 2 AAA Batteries that makes it easier to replace then the round flat batteries I have in another brand I bought. The only thing I don’t like is it is made of plastic so I can’t put it on hot parts that have been welded on and still hot. Yes I would buy this again

I love the fact that I can reset it to zero on an angle. You see I don't have numbers on my tripod when I have my telescope in parked mode and this helps me by zero the mount on parked. I love this little device.
