It's cold! It's hot! It's also very comfortable and seems to ne well made. I'm very happy with this product, both warm and cold.

Very comfortable and very cold right out of the freezer. I have to take them off for a bit and then put back on because they are so cold.

If you find the gloves too cold and unbearable to wear initially, wear a thin pair of cotton gloves underneath to create a small barrier.. This little trick can help you wear the gloves longer without feeling the stinging sensation.

I’ve had rheumatoid arthritis for over ten years so I’ve bought dozens of ice packs on Amazon. This one hits *most* of my needs, but it warms up very quickly. It’s super comfortable, flexible enough to wear while typing or doing limited work, is very cold but still padded enough to wear immediately after taking out of the freezer. It even comes with a little ziplock bag to keep from absorbing that food smell (mine always end up smelling vaguely of frozen meat…).But, the cold only lasts about 20 minutes, and they run very small. I have swollen wrists when I want to use these, and the large barely fastens the Velcro. I’m still buying another pair though, so I have another of the same ready to go!

It was actually painfully cold when frozen, so now we keep them in the refrigerator between uses. I was surprised at how pliable they are even when frozen. My daughter could continue to type even when they were frozen. Very comfortable.

Excellent quality. But too small for this big guy.

I fractured my wrist and the cast just came off. I was surprised at how my hand and wrist were swollen. I was placing a pack of gel beads which was not big enough to cover all the parts I wanted to cool down. I am very pleased to have this pair of ice-pack gloves. They cover the fingers, thumb, and wrist at the same time. It must have some kind of gel plate, it becomes extremely cold but stays soft and contact all the parts I wanted to be contacted. The coldness lasts about 20 minutes the therapist suggests. It also can heat up in the microwave. I keep one for cold therapy and the other for heat therapy. I recommend this product and think it is a good buy.

DOES NOT STAY COLD VERY LONG

When these first come out of the freezer, they're a little too cold for my hands. I have to put them on and off every 30 seconds or so for about 3 minutes until they warm up just enough. They were more comfortable right out of the freezer if I wore my compression gloves under them. The cold doesn't last as long as I might like, but that's the tradeoff with gel. The gel is very comfortable and flexible. I love that these go over the whole hand, front and back. They're flexible that I can still type while wearing them.Amazon doesn't do half stars, but honestly I would give these 4.5 stars. The time factor is only a minor inconvenience that keeps them from being perfect.
