The description says 1/4-20 and 6mm which one is it... That's why the three stars; otherwise, the part is works fine. By the way the threads are 6mm.

I like the fact that the threaded shaft was a standard size and that you can pull back on the knob, turn and lock it out of the way.

Used a 5mm drill to open the hole a bit bigger, and tapped the hole with a 1/4 UNC. Didn't need the nuts, but they can be used if you mistakenly make the hole too big. Only had to enlarge the hole on the chest since the pin fits the existing hole on the railing.

I tried to use a metal tap on one side, it was too much for the plastic and was loose. The second I threaded it by screwing it into the plastic by hand and rotating to final position with pliers. If you begin to strip it, like I did with a tap, just use Teflon tape. Functions well, I needed to mark on the bar so I know it's in position to lock-in faster.

Worked on my Milwaukee Packout. After a couple weeks of light duty use (not daily), one actually bent!?!! It can be finagled back into place, but a heads up if you expect perfection with this do-dad

One of the the screws/spring pins was a pull and twist to hold it out. It went in great! The second one was not the same at all. There was no way for me to screw it in to my Packout box. If they would have both been the same, it would have worked out greatI’m the process for refund

I followed the other post and made the hole in handle a little bigger 5/32, drilled hole in plastic 3/16, tapped plastic m6 x 1.0 worked great but found that its still a little short to use the nut. With it not long enough if I pulled back the plunger it would loosen up and not be the same depth. To fix this issue I set the nut over the hole and used a soldering pencil to heat it up and press it down into the plastic.

These little spring plungers make for easy removal of the handle on my Milwaukee pack out set. The handle being assembled doesn’t fit up under my tonneau cover. However, I need the handle to pull the toolbox with 5 locking trays on top. These are a must!!
