I am a kindergarten teacher, and we use the rekenreks over 100 days per year. They are a great tool for learning number sense. Faster than ten frames or counters, and easier than kids using fingers, it leaves their minds free to think about the problem and how numbers work. They are great. And these are a very good, sturdy set. I have had them 3 years with no issues, and bought a second set for the other kindergarten class as we use it so much sharing was difficult.
