I like the way this stand is made, the chrome is nice, and base seems sturdy. However, if a customer pays for a new product, the company should extend the courtesy of shipping a new product. The pole is okay, but all of the edges of the base are scratched and the finish is coming off all around the edges, including the edges where the pole connects. I don't have time to return it because I need it for a market display soon, so I'm planning on decoupaging my brand design over the base, and hopefully hide the edges. I can't use it as is because my display will appear shabby. On the upside, my totebags are lightweight so the stand should support them well. If the base had been new I would've left a five star review.

This may be a great tool to display an “empty” light weight bag. But it will not hold a bags with content in it. I’ve tried adjusting it to hold my bag and it falls every time . This purchase was a waste of my money.

I ordered this adjustable bracket to use in selling handbags online. It is just what I needed! You can adjust the height depending on the handle/strap of the bag. It is a better way to see the bag from all angles. You could also use it as a display piece for your own handbags in a walk in closet. Especially the bags without a flat bottom that you have to lay down on a shelf.
