This is a nice and well made headstall! We have quarter horses and this fit my chunky horse with no issues. It is made of nice leather and seems to be quality. I did give it a good saddle soap conditioning to help make the leather a little more pliable. After about 5 months of on and off use the buckles have began to tarnish a little but that is no big deal to me. Other than that this has been a nice and handy headstall to keep around!

This headstall is made well and I have no complaints about the craftmanship of it. It just didn't fit my horse, too small.

I think this is an attractive headstall. I have a couple one ear headstalls for my horse and I wanted to try out this straight browband one instead. The leather is very supple and easy to work with. The fit is good and attaching the reins was straightforward. I chose the clover design. It looks like a more classic style and the clover has a special meaning to me so I really like it.

I got this for my 16.2 OTTOB that is a little sensitive about his ears so the browband is always my go-to and this fits him very nicely. The leather is fairly soft, but I did have to oil it some to make it more flexible for adjustments which can happen when purchasing new leather tack. The hardware is very pretty, appears to be durable, and the stitching is straight and well done. Great quality for the price when you are constantly using different bits on various horses.

The leather is much thicker than I expected it to be and is nicely finished. The decorative buckle is subtle which is great, I am not a big fan of bling. You will need to make sure that your bit will fit. I was disappointed that one of my favorite bits won't work with this unless I want to pare down the leather to allow it to fit, and it's just too nice for me to pull out my knife. I'll use this with one of my snaffles instead. Most people won't have that issue, I use a western headstall, but still like to use my old English bits, which have much smaller openings for the cheek straps to go through than most western bits. I've got English stirrups hanging on my Ausie saddle too... I just like to mix it all up.

This is a really nice headstall. I was impressed with the quality and appearance upon opening. The buckle is pretty and unique, while still being subtle. As far as function, it fits my quarter horse well and has held up fine so far.A couple negatives to note - on one of the sides the leather was super stiff. I couldn't fold/bend it enough to pull it through to attach it to my jr cowhorse bit. After trying saddle soap and Vaseline to try to soften it, we ended up using pliers to pull it through. That worked okay, but that side is still more stiff causing the loop on the side to stick out a bit more. Hoping it'll soften over time. This hasn't affected the function, was just a bit annoying and would be very inconvenient if you planned to switch bits frequently. The other thing to note is that the buckles are not super heavy duty. They worked fine to adjust, but they just felt lightweight. I'm not going to be switching this headstall between horses, so I won't have to adjust often, but if I did I would be wary of the longevity of these buckles.Overall, I really like it! It's classy looking with pretty leather and unique buckles. It fits my horse well and appears to be quality and well made, at a good price.

My horse is a normal size of about 15hh , she wears a horse sized bridle and this was way too small! It’s amazing quality and super cute but unfortunately won’t fit any of my horses!
