The plastic is very thin and flimsy, but you get what you pay for. The hook appears strong but the plastic encasing it is not. Based on the reviews, I knew it would be a bit too long. I was prepared to fold the bottom up a bit, then tape or staple the fold in place, as I did with a previous order. Evidently this placard case is not as hefty as my "old one". Not sure if this thin/flimsy product will last through Florida's summer. Darn.
