Admittedly... we got this as a bit of a joke for our employee. However, I can report that it is a great stencil if you need a handicapped parking space marked out. We just used chalk for ours... but if you plan on painting one... You're going to want to paint the big blue block first, put this down on top of that, then spray your white paint. Thanks to the thickness of the material, it did lay out pretty flat. On a warm day, I have no doubts that it will lay flat on its own if you put it on asphalt. We had a few places we had to kind of hold it down but it was also 30 degrees out, and too cold to paint anyways.
