The seams on the first one I recieved started to come apart after 1 row. Sent it back, got a new one. Doesn't work well for the Peloton Row. I put it on with the strap that connects them facing up on the top of the handle. By the end of a 20 minute row, the covers have rotated completely around so the strap is now on the bottom (pic below). Maybe not a big deal on all rowers, but this interferes with the docking sensor on the Peloton Row. I might just cut the strap off altogether because as it is I'm having to take them off and reposition them every 20 minutes anyway. 3 stars because the material is nice squishy but not too thick.

These rowing handle covers add a thin layer of neoprene-like padding to the handles of my Concept 2 Rower. The cover is thin and changes the feel of the grip. It is not thick enough to make the grip too bulky to be comfortable and it does not hinder frequent hand position changes. These are well made, slip on in seconds, link together with velcro to prevent slipping, and protect the original handle from wear. These covers should last a life time. However, they are not game changing. Best use is to simply prolong the life of the perfect original handle.

Oh! I love these handle covers. It fit my rower and stationary cycle perfectly! What I love is how soft and comfortable it is, easing the stress during a session of exercise. They easily slip on and are sturdy, so they stay on. They actually do not slip off. I also love the fact that you can just toss these in the wash, removing all the sweat and germs after use. The red designed trim is bright and stunning. I absolutely am so satisfied, I will be getting more for my other pieces of equipment. Product is as described and pictured. These handles come nicely packaged, and with a velcro strap to keep them together, which is also handy for hanging, keeping together while in the laundry, and carrying with you to the gym. Perfect accessories to have in your home gym or public gym.

My wife and I both use our Concept2 machine and had slightly different opinions on this cover... Our rowing sessions usually last about 45 to 60 minutes and we already had a different cover that is made from more of a fabric material and that has the end of the cover closed, so it covers all the way to the end of the handle...My wife rates this cover 2 to 3 stars. She found the material made her hands sweat and become slippery halfway through her session. She also felt that the cover was sliding toward the center of the handle which made it less comfortable to grip.My rating is 3 to 4 stars. I like the neoprene cushioning of the cover, but I also had the issue of the cover sliding toward the center of the handle and I apparently prefer to place my hands towards the outside of the handle (and after 20 years of Concept2 rowing, I don't think that will change). I ended up pulling the cover out so it stuck out half an inch from the end of the handle on either side - that worked for my right hand, but the left side cover came sliding back in toward the center of the handle. Sweat was surprisingly not an issue for me.I used the cover without the velcro connector, since that made the sliding worse. This would be easily fixed if the end of the cover were closed so it could not slide in. Other than the sliding, I actually like the cover, but stopping every 10 minutes to pull the cover back toward the edge of the handle gets old quickly. But depending how you place your hands on the rower handle this might not be an issue...

My first impression was how thin the material is, but I put this on a Concept 2 Rower and not only was it a perfect fit, it actually did make the handles much more comfortable.I think they could still benefit from being a bit thicker and cushier, but definitely an improvement in comfort and grip.

Got this handle cover for my concept 2 rower and it makes a HUGE DIFFERENCE! I was having to use weight gloves to keep my hands from hurting but they were getting so sweaty. This is the perfect solution!!! So pleased!

To be fair, at the time of this review, I seem to be the only disappointed party. Others gave positive feedback, so they must not have experienced the problems which I did, and maybe you wouldn't either. Could just be me. But I had a different experience, so to give you a fuller picture, here's what I found.--Fit. The size of these covers is completely wrong for my rowing machine. They are made from a slightly stretchy material which should accommodate different sizes of handlebars, but at their smallest, unstretched dimensions, they are so loose on my handlebars that I still have room to add a finger. In other words, it's not a slight difference, but a significant one. Because they are drastically too large for the machine I have, they are unusable. They would just be sliding around and twisting and rotating like crazy while I was trying to work out.--Design. Even if they were a good fit for me, I still wouldn't like the way they're made. No matter which way I tried to position them on the handlebars, I found the prominent seam to be uncomfortable in my hand. It's pretty tall, so even through the material of the cover, the seam would press and rub against my palm or fingers. I couldn't find a way to position it so that this wouldn't be an issue.--Quality. I didn't find the covers to be well-made. Mine arrived fraying, brand new out of the box. I think this is because of the way the two covers are linked. One half has a small fabric loop near its inner edge, while the other features a long Velcro strap which feeds through the loop on its mate, before folding back onto itself, thus connecting the two covers. Well, the strap has only the rough side (the hooks) of the Velcro. This is functional in the sense that the hooks will mesh with themselves to hold the two covers together, but it also means that the little fabric loop will be in constant contact with that scratchy material. Over time, I can easily imagine the hooks roughing up whatever they're rubbing against, as they might do while you're rowing but, as I said, mine arrived already shredded. The little loop was all torn up on one side, and fraying away, and the Velcro was just tearing it apart, before I'd even used them once. Perhaps there was a problem during the manufacturing process, because it also looks like the little loop on my set has two tiny cuts, as from scissors, so this pair of covers never should have made it past quality control. So, here's what I think. Rowing machines are all different, so these covers might fit your handlebars just fine. It's also probable that yours wouldn't arrive in poor condition the way mine did, based on the fact that other reviews awarded high stars to this product. However, I still wouldn't recommend these to a friend, based on the raised seam which I found so uncomfortable. Taken all together, these were the most disappointing order I've received in a long time. They didn't fit, they weren't comfortable to use, and they weren't made well, so based on my experience, I can only give one star.
