This is such a fabulous picnic basket set!!!It comes with so many lovely items, including a picnic blanket, napkins, plates, cups, silverware. Plates and cups and silverware are lightweight but still good quality; they don’t feel too cheap! Washable and reusable without being too heavy to carry around. Plates and cups are plastic; plates are a thick plastic and nice and sturdy.It has an inner zipper compartment that is insulated, and you can hold all of your food!! It has two pleather straps to attach the rolled up blanket to the picnic basket, so you can carry all of it easily.The blanket and napkins are a nice cotton material, and the blanket has a waterproof layer on the bottom to keep moisture out!!The basket itself is sturdy and very nice quality. The clasps to close the basket are also very nice and really keep it tightly latched. I’m so impressed with this amazing set; I think it could make a really thoughtful gift for newlyweds, parents, or friends.It’s great quality and very nice value for the price! I love it and the design is so cute. Highly recommend!!

I ordered this Handwoven Wicker Picnic Basket for 4 with Insulated Cooler - Valentine’s Day Luxury Set Waterproof Blanket & Ceramic Plates, Beach Camping Essentials for Couples because I loved the vintage style combined with the very modern conveniences.This wicker picnic basket makes me want to fill it up with goodies, toss it in the back of our 1920s Stutz tonneau, tie a scarf over my enormous motoring hat, and go for a jaunt with my husband.Alas, we have no 1920s Stutz, but we do go on a lot of summer road trips out of NYC to the CT countryside; this looked perfect for packing road snacks. We’re also planning a jaunt to Michigan to drop our teenager off at Interlochen for camp, so I thought we could toss this in the SUV (not quite as stylish as the open Stutz, perhaps) and have elegant picnics en route and back.This is also great for picnics in Central and Prospect Park, and our smaller neighborhood parks. It even includes a stylish striped blanket that attaches to the wicker case with faux leather straps.I’ve always wanted one of those viciously expensive kitted out picnic baskets you see at places like Scully & Scully or Tiptree or Fortnum & Mason. While this may not have real silver and china, it has the feel of those upscale baskets; it also has a wonderful old school vintage aesthetic.This wicker picnic basket measures about 16 1/2” inches wide x 7” tall x 12” deep; it comes in ten different color combinations involving different colors of wicker and faux PU leather and different patterns for the picnic blanket, lining, and napkins.I chose a dark wicker with black faux leather; I was tempted by a cute light wicker with pink faux leather, but the darker colors looked more authentically vintage to my eyes. I also chose the navy and white striped blanket; it had a sort of old school preppie look and it looked like it wouldn’t show as many stains as the cute but light colored floral patterns. The blanket measures about 59” x 52”, it’s made from waterproof material.My teenager also pointed out that he might like to take a girl on a picnic; he didn’t want to carry a white basket with flowery trim and blanket. The navy and white stripe works for the whole family.This basket is kitted out with a great deal of thought; the basket is designed to facilitate an upscale picnic experience. The lower zippered chamber is insulated and waterproof; it should keep drinks and food cold for up to 8 hours. There’s a good amount of space here to stow for and/or drinks, it has a sturdy zippered top (initially a little stiff at the rounded corners, but it’s breaking in nicely) and shiny silver insulation inside.The basket arrived with the blanket and wine glasses tucked into the food storage chamber; for a picnic, you roll up the blanket and put it in the two faux leather buckled loops on the side of the hamper. The small plastic wine glasses nest for convenience; there’s plenty of room for them in the storage section.There’s more storage room atop the zippered chamber. The inside lid has more faux leather straps that hold your plates, utensils, and more. There’s four white ceramic plates that measure about 7” wide, stainless steel utensils (fork, knife, spoon) with white plastic handles for four, four navy/white striped placemats and napkins, a bottle opener, and even salt and pepper shakers, all of which have their own slots to nestle in for safe carrying.This lovely styling makes me aspirational; forget about pb & js, I want to stock this with goodies from the neighborhood gourmet store for this basket’s first outing. (and now I’m back in fantasy land with my imaginary 1920s Stutz Bearcat, and also being able to afford gourmet goodies…)Styling aside, this basket is practical and all the gear is sturdy; it should last for quite a while. One minor note on the wicker; when this arrived, I noticed the dark wicker had been banged about a bit in transit there were two small pieces that were chipped, revealing the lighter wicker inside. I asked my husband if it bothered him, he asked what I was talking about. When I pointed to the bits, he said probably no one but me would notice. If you’re very detail oriented like me, be aware that the darker and white versions of this basket may chip slightly with use, revealing the natural wicker. It doesn’t look bad at all, it actually gives it a sort of aged, heirloom look.At the current price ($59.99) I think you get enormous value; this wicker basket has everything you need for stylish picnics, and has some of the style of the very upscale versions. Perfect for romantic picnics (champagne and strawberries?), family picnics, tailgating. This could be a cute wedding present, too.

This set is so cute! I ordered the red and yellow set which also has a pink in the stripes and the accents on the basket (handles and buckle straps) are pink. There are a lot of really nice color/pattern options to choose from. The set comes with service for 4: napkins, plates, utensils and plastic cups. The plates are ceramic and the silverware is stainless. To me this was important so you don't have to worry about your food sliding off the plate because the plate is too flimsy or soaking through as it could when using a paper plate. As for the utensils, stainless steel beats plastic forks and knifes any day. There is also a tool included with a cork screw to open wine and bottle opener and small pocket knife if needed to open packaging. I think it is wonderful that there is an insulated cooler lining to keep your food hot or cold and to catch any spills. This is also nice when your done with you meal to store the plates, etc. and this lining is easy to clean up and keep fresh when you get home. There was so much thought put into this set. There is a place for everything and you don't have to worry about a mess when you get to your picnic or outing because there are loops and straps to keep everything in place. I am so excited to use this for beach trips!

I bought the pink striped picnic set and love it! The set itself is adorable and has everything you’d need for a romantic picnic. I especially liked all the compartments inside to ensure your dishes and silverware don’t move around on you. The wicker basket seems very durable as well. I can’t wait to put this to some real use this spring!

I have been on the search for a cute picnic basket that I could take to the park with my kids. This was so so perfect. We went with the pink/floral one as we have all girls. The storage capacity for food in the bottom is great! Comes with handles for carrying so even if you pack it full of food it’s still easy to carry. It has all the utensils you’d need for a good picnic. I plan to set this out for our gender reveal coming up because it’s so esthetic as well!!!

This basket is very well-made and quite sturdy! The thick leather straps are secure on the outside and the wicker is thick and durable. All utensils are strapped inside so they are secure. The gingham mat is not soft like a blanket, but it can easily be cleaned and is a great ground covering that will not allow moisture through. The insulated compartment will keep food or beverages cold. This is the cutest picnic basket with a classic feel and traditional feel. I would definitely recommend this to others.
